*SLOW UPDATES* Whispers of a mysterious sorcerer have been heard throughout parts of Eryn Lasgalen and eventually reached the ears of Prince Legolas himself. The dutiful prince has always considered himself the protector of his people, and is troubled by the idea of a wizard, powerful enough to single handedly take down legions of Orcs, roaming freely across his lands. However, what Legolas is not aware of, is a deeper, darker shadow growing in Middle-earth, one which has brewed for centuries, and even evaded the ever watchful Eye of Sauron.

There are guardians even in Middle-earth, though no song or scroll names them. The Hanu (Han- new) walk unseen - keepers of chaos and order, bound by oaths older than the Valar themselves. Their shield is secrecy; their duty, eternal. Few know their presence. Fewer still understand their burden. As the Fellowship gathers and the Shadow grows, another story moves quietly alongside. The Guardian of Balance does not stand in councils nor lead in battle - but walks the spaces in between, where choice and consequence bend unseen. This is a tale of parallel paths: a hidden watcher bound to Middle-earth, whose silent influence brushes against the great journey, though her name will never be written in the Red Book. πŸ“Œ A crossover of Tolkien's legendarium and the Hanu Chronicles - not a retelling, but a parallel myth, unfolding in the quiet between great deeds.

"There are no gems finer than the stars." By the workings of the Istari, Marin was cast from her homeland, the first fairy in one thousand years to be cursed with a broken wing. Her hopes of touching the stars dimmed with each passing day as she walked the lonely paths of the Wild. Until, one hundred years after her Breaking, Gandalf the Grey offers her a chance to help guide thirteen dwarves through the dangers of Middle-Earth for the promise of rich reward. Follow Marin Nymaed on her journey through Middle-Earth, finding acceptance, friendships, and a love strong enough to break her curse. I do not own The Hobbit or any of J.R.R. Tolkien's works. I only own Marin and the fairy culture and language that I built for this story Cross-posted on AO3

This story is based on family trees found in the Appendicies of "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King". The main characters are children of our hobbit heroes and the misadventures they find themselves in after Bilbo invites them to the Second House of Elrond in Valinor. In the Shire they thought the most amazing things were stories, but now Ely, Frodo, and Faramir find themselves in their own story, filled with goblins, elves, mystery, enchantment, and danger.

The North has fallen. Mithlond burns. Frodo never returned from Mordor. Now the tide of darkness rises unchecked, sweeping across Middle-earth like a second great shadow. In this alternate retelling of the War of the Ring, the free peoples stand scattered and broken. Glorfindel, once a beacon of light, is taken by Sauron, his fate unknown. Caledorn, a solemn elven warrior, is sent east in search of Rukil, a rebel Easterling warlord who may hold the key to survival. Meanwhile, Gerithor, a seasoned DΓΊnedain ranger, and the dwarf Kalan brave the storm in the South, seeking to aid Helm's Deep before it is crushed beneath the weight of a united host of Orcs, Corsairs, and traitors. As alliances fray and hope fades, a handful of heroes must rise not to win, but to endure. To buy time. To light a single torch against the night. Because sometimes, the end is not victory. Sometimes, the Last Stand is all that remains. Following the events of Defenders of Middle Earth Part One, this AU details what would have happened if the Fellowship, and Gerithor's company, had failed in their tasks.

Born of Eru IlΓΊvatar's divine breath-the cosmic flame that forged existence-he is Aelion, the First Flame, the silent architect of Middle Earth. Timeless, unyielding, magnificent in elven form, Aelion watched as elves awoke, kingdoms rose, and darkness slithered from the East. Now, as shadows gather and legends stir once more, he must step forward-not as myth, but as power incarnate. With secrets older than the Silmarils and a love that defies fate, his story will reshape Middle Earth's destiny... and challenge even the legacy of the One Ring.

*Spoilers Ahead Beware* This book will include OCs I have made both in fanfiction and in originally written stories by me. This book will include characters from stories that I have not published, have yet to publish, and have not finished. Will also include: Character symbolisms Quotes I feel run with their stories Stuff not stated in the books, or yet to be added Hidden plot points not made clear in the stories Faceclaims Just because I have created these character pages does not mean that they are up for grabs, this book was simply created to give you readers a little more insight into who your reading about. If your looking for a certain character, I recommend using the chapter selection so that you are not spoiled by accident. I have taken the time to organize them by publication and creation. Anything that looks unfinished currently will be updated overtime, so check back regularly.
