Dungover is a small, quiet village in rural Ireland. A place where everyone knows everyone, where life moves slowly, and where little ever changes. Mary Jane Seymour lives there with her husband, in a careful, fragile routine. She longs for a child, for meaning, for something to finally take root in her life. But the village offers few answers, and fewer futures. When a new doctor settles into the long-abandoned house next door, the community welcomes him with relief and gratitude. At last, there is medical care again. At last, help. Slowly, things begin to change. Old wounds heal. Desires awaken. Bodies grow stronger, stranger, more fertile. What first feels like renewal soon reveals another side. Beneath the calm surface of Dungover, something ancient stirs. Something generous. Something hungry. As the village transforms, Mary Jane begins to suspect that the cure may be worse than the illness-and that some gifts come at a high cost. The Black Goat Tonic is a novel of quiet dread and creeping corruption, where faith, family, and the human body become gateways to something vast, inhuman, and impossibly patient.

AIITBS is a story inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, starting in Boston Massachusetts in the year 1934. It starrs young scholar and occultist Nathaniel Butler, of the obscenely wealthy Butler family, who's dealings in magic and alchemy force him into misadventures of the certainly eldritch variety. This story is quite a ways from being finished but I already have an ending in mind, so I am confident that it will be in time. Please be patient and I hope you have fun while reading! Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn! Yours truly, Creaturefromtheattic

Upon the mist-swept Coast of Murmurs in the County of Nelia, a desiccated lighthouse gazes out to the deep. Once, it belonged to the astronomer Jenrik, yet with his disappearance came the complete abandonment of the lighthouse. Left to rot by the authorities, even as dreadful rumours of ghosts, disappearances and mysterious lights hangs like a pall over it. But, there are those whose motivations lie in uncovering Jenrik's secrets. And for that purpose, a lone Mercenary has been contracted to delve into the darkness, and uncover the mystery of Jenrik's Tower. Fanfiction inspired by the Mount And Blade Warband Modification, 'World of Vasnar' by Ryndill Blackfyre. I ask that you please support his marvellous work, for it is truly one of the finest examples of M&B Warband Mods out there. Details have been altered and perhaps I have gone too far in making it my own, but the inspiration and ultimately, the credit, lies in Ryndill and his supporter's valued contributions. It is his and their work, their labours, and for that he ultimately deserves credit. Link to the Mod: https://www.moddb.com/mods/world-of-vasnar

Down-on-his-luck private investigator Ray Leonard has seen his share of strange cases. But nothing could prepare him for Cassie-a mysterious redhead with an appetite for applesauce and a habit of claiming she's a goddess from beyond the stars. When a routine stakeout turns into a blood-soaked shootout at a 24-hour diner, Ray finds himself reluctantly protecting this strange girl from men in black suits with guns... and something much worse lurking beneath their human disguises. As reality itself begins to unravel around them, Ray must confront an impossible truth: Cassie's wild tales about cosmic entities and interdimensional powers might not be delusions after all. Something ancient and terrible wants her back-something willing to tear apart the fabric of our world to get her. With his cynical intern Sam as his only ally, Ray must decide whether to trust his rational mind or his gut instinct. Because in a universe where gods walk among us wearing human skin, and eldritch horrors hunt through hospital corridors, Ray Leonard might be the only thing standing between our world and cosmic horror beyond imagination. Sometimes a puzzle is better left unsolved.

    - A chilling horror in the Style of Stephen King and Dean Koontz - Find it on Amazon Havenwood, Maine, reeks of rust, salt, and old blood. For Marcus Holson, returning home isn't just a burden-it's a descent into hell. Fifteen years ago, the ocean swallowed his brother whole, leaving Marcus shattered and dependent on a bottle of pills to keep the darkness at bay. Now, inside the rotting walls of the Holson estate, the past refuses to stay submerged. The medication dulls the panic, but it can't mask the metallic tang in the air. It can't silence the sound of wet, heavy footsteps dragging across the floorboards in an empty house. The tide is rising, and the dead don't stay buried in the deep. Is Marcus losing his mind, or has the ocean finally come to finish what it started? "This manuscript is a visceral, high-concept entry into the cosmic horror genre that stands out due to its unique thematic integration of trauma and survival. The prose is dense and evocative, creating a suffocating atmosphere that effectively mirrors the protagonist's internal state. The central mechanic-the protagonist's dissociation and emotional numbness render him invisible to the monsters-is a brilliant narrative device that elevates the story above standard creature features. It is highly marketable, fitting well within the current appetite for 'elevated horror' that blends psychological depth with eldritch gore." - Review From the author of - The Obsidian Carnival -

Hieronymus Jones was a strange boy, a hair past fifteen, tall and pale with jet black hair, dark brown eyes and a very peculiar kind of mind. If he was not the smartest thing on the planet, he was a very close second. He had secrets, dark and terrible, wonderful and pure. Secrets of hidden worlds with lost people, that were not entirely human. Most unusually, he held secrets... of magic. When Hieronymus Jones saw Gertrude Green for the first time, he sat up a little straighter in his seat. She was an odd girl with a smattering of freckles across her pale skin, impossibly red hair and perfect green eyes. She too had secrets. Together they would discover a connection to each other, far deeper than either could have imagined. Mysterious pendants, evil twisted mounds of monstrous flesh and school bullies are one thing, but when a small unimpressed squid makes a nest in Hieronymus's cup of tea, something clearly needs to be done. Honestly, this is TEA we are talking about, don't these creatures have any manners? The first book in a fantasy romance series, awash with bleeding edge technology, magic, humor and hideous tentacle laden, Lovecraftian nightmares, that are coming to kill the world... woot.
