After Kath's parents separated, things really got complicated. That's the time Kath chose to lock herself up in her own world. Her only window to the outside is an app called Meetup, an online platform designed to help people meet strangers from all around the globe. The app enables its users to chat anonymously . One night, Kath decided to go for it. With just a click away, she was paired to a random guy who's also from Manila. Kath learned that the guy's name is Miko, who is already nineteen and was working in a shop. They chatted for almost a month already. Now that Kath realizes that they have already established a relationship, she worries if she'll have the courage to meet him for real. Will Miko turn out to be the guy she's expecting him to be? or he's just one of the many--dangerous. All rights reserved 2019

Sa makabago at mapanlinlang na panahon ngayon, paano ka nakasisigurong kilala mo nang husto ang taong nagpapangiti sa iyo? Anna, an introvert develops a close relationship with an online friend. Things begin to become suspicious as the friend encourages her to have meet-up with him.

This isn't one of my usual short stories, it's a story that I've written for the writing competition #makeITsafePH. I apologize if this story frightens you in any way, but this is the reality behind many incidents that happen around the world.

Everything has gone digital, eveything can now be obtained with just a few taps on your screen with your fingers. It has become so digital and so instant that it created a vast horizon of traps that's waiting to devour the ignorant.
