This kinda like my journal, so yeah. Read it if you want. The first couple entries are old and cringe, so be prepared. The last entry is the most recent, so read this if you want. I talk about my mind and my maladaptive daydreaming.

A look into the mind of a maladaptive daydreamer.

A short story about a girl who created a own reality around her life. This one is based of my own experience with maladaptive daydreaming as a coping mechanism. ⚠️Please keep in mind that writers always make things extra in their stories. So some of it can be true, but in a less extreme way.⚠️ This short story is just an exercise to improve my writing, so if you have any feedback or comments, please let me know. I'd really appreciate it.

An avid maladaptive daydreamer, Día, finds herself unable to get out of her head. That is, after all, where her favorite fictional characters live. Her fictional worlds and characters become so prominent and the daydreams become more frequent, so much so that it impedes her daily life and responsibilities, hurting the people around her and herself. Her mother sends her away to her cousin's beach house for the summer to hopefully clear her head of all the noise, where she is faced with a difficult choice.

note! this is not a book! i have Maladaptive Daydreaming Disorder. I like to type out my Daydreams like stories because I find it fun AND this is my form of therapy. All the stories are NOT in order and I type what is on my mind in the giving moment. Maladaptive daydreaming often takes us to places which we cannot go in reality. Will the universe really conspire just for us to get what we want? What should we sacrifice then? This is a story on how Solana Bonifacio's daydream fills up her unfinished future. The universe favors her idea of love and grant her the most luxurious future a person can ever have. Can we really please the universe to do us a favor? Unveil Solana's desires.

This whole shebang could perfectly prove that time is indeed not lineal. How come you may ask? What da hell do I know. A rant, a "Dear Diary" kinda thing if you will. An extreme mixture of a real life that's not so bad if I may say so myself and a very invasive maladaptive daydreaming plague. If I get to express myself in a way that's undestandable. If I manage to get my thoughts through my chaotic mind. You might find yourself before an enlightening experience like no other or so so. That is of course if you get to understand my gibberish and are able to follow my train of thought, cos I can't, so it will only take one of us for that. If you, dear reader and potential soulmate, after reading the whole ramble, feel you can relate, then wow, kudos are in order! And what's more important if you feel you are in fact my soulmate for you see yourself like a copy of me BUT totally different at the same time, then don't refrain from contacting me. I will have to see if you qualify of course because in my mind I am very busy and important like that apparently; as to have someone responding to such bullshit topped with a shitty attitude. Chances are high that you won't (qualify), please don't loose hope, you will find yours, I'm pretty sure, if my soulmate thingy theory is right. Might not be as out of this world in a very superficially boring kind of way as me, but it will do. If I find though, that you're not, then that would be why I didn't respond. There would be no point really, I can't be bothered with you any more.

Lucus is a 20-year-old college student who would personally rather just stay at home inside his own head then go to classes or his job. He spends all his time daydreaming, he's never bored, never alone, and never really needs to be around people, he's been like this for a while and his friend and family have gotten used to him being absent from things. Lucus is now however finally seeing a therapist for some other problems and he brings up the daydreaming to her, and they talk about, while the therapist doesn't know how to help him with this particular part of his life, but now at least he's talking to someone about this bad habit he had gotten quite addicted to.

Escape from reality. That's how one girl's Wonderland was created. She could travel between different worlds in her Wonderland and her reality. Becoming the realm's strongest being she became the ruler of Wonderland. But what if Wonderland isn't hers? What if the girl's servant had been lying to her? What if the true ruler of Wonderland is lost? *May have slow updates I am a college student, a procrastinator, and a daydreamer*
