ashton, calum, michael, and luke were all dealt a pretty bad hand when it came to childhood, but their negative experiences brought them together. the four are now out of the worst of the foster care system and live together, but all of their problems weren't magically solved when they got to live independently.

Ashton is focused on Luke and Luke only. He's pining after a love that doesn't seem to be there, a title that only exists on his skin and in his heart. Michael thinks pink's such a pretty color. He thinks death is a form of art and, well, of course you paint with pink in art. Calum is the leading officer on the string of murders, some that tie back to an sociopathic person with an odd obsession with the color pink and a heart broken person with a knack for tearing other people's hearts apart quite literally.
