What the title of this book implies, and, hopefully, you get a good character.

I was six years old when the Empire took me. They didn't ask for my name. They gave me one. Asset Six. Every year, the number changed. Asset Seven. Asset Eight. Asset Nine. Asset Ten. Asset Eleven. Asset Twelve. That is who I am now. Asset Twelve. A number. A project. Something they kept behind locked doors and bright lights, waiting for the moment they decided I was useful. Not a person. Definitely not a kid. And maybe that would have been my whole life, numbers and orders and cold rooms and people who never looked me in the eye, if the mission had not gone wrong. It was not even my fault. (Which is impressive, honestly. They usually blame me before anything even happens) One moment I was where they put me. The next, I was not. Someone else got to me first. Someone who did not care about numbers or orders or what the Empire wanted. Someone who saw me as cargo, not a weapon. I was kidnapped. Then sold. Then sold again. Niktos this time. They did not bother learning my number. They did not care enough. And just when I thought that was it, that this was the part where my story ended quietly in some back room on some forgotten planet until the lights went out for good... A Mandalorian walked in.

An esteemed Mandalorian, a great bounty hunter died an honorable death defending Grogu (AKA Baby Yoda). But what if the Force decides to give him another chance at life... in another world? Visions of mass destruction and voices of doom haunt a young woman since childhood. But when a vision of a cataclysmic event destroying three planets comes true, she's forced to leave her home world to find answers. But some answers are more terrifying than questions as it leads to a dark truth she was never ready for. Of course, all rights belong to Lucasfilm/Disney. Most characters are my own creation. Likjia is a runaway, escaping a life filled with horrors when she meets the Mandalorian, a man who both intrigues and confounds her, and while their meeting is under less than friendly circumstances they eventually form a shaky alliance as they fight together to protect the Child and defeat a common enemy. this story takes place after season one of "the mandalorian" on disney+ leaving us on chapter nine. ------------------------- the mandalorian and the child, now a clan of two. the mandalorian and his foundling 'son' the child aka 'baby yoda' travels through galaxy to galaxy trying to dodge moff gideon and whoever he sends for them. while mando tries to figure out the childs powers and help improve them to become a strong jedi, he also has to protect him since they are the only two mandalorian's left. it appears that moff gideon is trying to make everyone apart of the mandalore extinct after seeing him with the darksaber: a mandalorian tool, similar to a jedi's lightsaber.

But never had she seen a small green, big eared child. She makes a spilt second decision and now on the run for everyone she thought as friends. While on the run with a close friend she will grow closer to him and eventually the two will break down each other's walls. She will face the memories of her past and learn that her heart still has hope. (Red is a nickname used in this story the characters real name is of course (y/n) but until that is known she will be referred to as Red.)
