In a place where people fight just to survive, most people dream of getting out. Mariella Gallagher didn't. She just wanted to be rich. She wasn't academic, didn't have any special talents-unless you count knowing how to talk to people in more than one language. So she came up with a plan. Find a man who already had everything... and make sure he gave it to her.

16 Year old Rose just moved to the south side of Chicago hoping to escape her past. She moved in with the light of her life her little brother Finn and her alcoholic mother. She thought her life would consisted her taking care of others until she meets the boy next door Ian Gallagher.

Ian exhales the breath he didn't know he was holding, shakily. There's so much he wants to ask - but he's distracted by the sound of trumpets in the background. "Is that ... is that Mariachi music?" This is my attempt at wrapping up the Gallavich storyline in a Shameless fashion - something which may, or may not be attempted by the series going forward. It wouldn't necessarily be my choice for where the characters are, or how they got there, but I think there's still aspects to all of them that have yet to be explored. Everything is canon through Season 7 - yeah, even the bits you don't like.
