Out of Place is a fan fiction that I wrote in my free time, and discovers that possibility of Marinette in a miraculous world that we aren't familiar with. It's crazy to think there are probably so many parallel universes, and how they may compare to this. Marinette realises that she's in love with someone that embodies perfection. She believes he is out of her league but she isn't the only one who feels that way. A superhero is also in love with someone, but he doesn't think he'll ever deserve her. These kindred spirits meet. Will there be sparks, a flame that ignites a passion or will they fail to find true love?

Marinette finally gets up the courage to talk to Adrian about her crush... only to find out that hes in love with her alter-ego Ladybug. Chat Noir gains an interest in Marinette, especially when he finds her crying in her room and wandering the streets at night on her own. The more time he spends with her, the more he realizes, he truly cares for her. He starts to question his undying love for his lady, realizing maybe their was another girl who was just as much a hero... but who didnt need a mask to show it. how could he have missed her? shed been right there in front of him this whole time. now... could she turn her eyes from the famous model... to the stray ally cat?

Personally, I was tired of putting so much emotional investment into a show, and barely getting anything out of it. So, I decided to write my own story.
