The year is 20 AWW; 20 years after the disappearance of the White Wolf and the start of a new era of joy and prosperity in Kenettra. Queen Violetta has taken charge of Kenettra in the absence (for some strange reason unknown to the public, she refuses to admit that her sister is dead) of her sister, the late Queen Adelina Amouteru. Kenettra has never seen a more prosperous and fruitful time than under the rule of their benevolent Queen Violetta and her husband, Sergio. The terrifying era of the White Wolf has begun to fade in the minds of the public, and with it, the times when the poison of the immortal world touched the mortal world. Malfetto is a term that hasn't been used in 20 years, and the memory of the Young Elites has, for the most part, died out. All this will change with the birth of Princess Rosalina, daughter of Queen Violetta and Sergio. At first, she was a normal child - unmarked and lovely, the flower of the kingdom. And then, as soon as she turned 16 years of age, something terrible happened. Her hair changed from its previous chocolate brown to a bright, brilliant silver. The exact shade of the White Wolf's hair. She turned from the flower of the kingdom to the abomination of the kingdom overnight. Multiple rebellions rose up from the frightened citizens of Kenettra, attempting to break into the castle to rid the world of the abomination Princess Rosalina, the living memory of the feared White Wolf. But driving these assassination attempts is a rumor of something that is stirring in the world, starting with Rosalina. Something not seen before since the era of the Young Elites. The Genderbent, Characters of Legend; June and Day. It’s my rewrite, or version, of Champion, By Marie Lu. June's boy name is Julian. Day's girl name is Daniella. The scene starts on pg. 346 of Champion, by Marie Lu. Where the doctor tells June that Day has awakened from his surgery, but doesn't remember her. (Remember that their lives are swapped, so Daniella [Day] is the Prodigy, whereas Julian [June] is the Legend).

Champion ends on a cliffhanger that shredded my heart into many pieces. I personally was not a fan of it so I decided to make my own ending. It starts off in June's point of view then switches to Day, like in the book. It's still 10 years later and June just saw the news that Day is in town.

I couldn't help but think, "What happens next?" So I decided to write one version of how I think it would turn out. Or at least one way I would want it to turn out.

*This is a Legend Fanfic* Day has been in Antarctica for almost 10 years with his brother a 21yr old Eden. He's well respected and something of a celebrity in Antarctica. Stories start spreading about an unknown vigilante known as Night. June hears about it and takes this chance to go to Antarctica in hopes of solving this mystery and seeing Day, but when she stumbles into Night things get a little interesting...

This book is about what happens after Marie Lu's Champion. Will June be able to be with Day again? Or will she have to give him up again? All characters are Marie Lu's. Unless I add some characters of my own.

June has trouble being around Day - or she should call him Daniel, but she won't. Day can't get enough of the girl who brings back more of his memories than anyone - anything else. Slowly, they work together to push through June's loss and through Day's fight.

At the ending of Champion by Marie Lu, June and Day meet again as adults but Day still doesn't remember June. In this short, their story comes to a more completed end as June tries to get Day to remember who she is.

Can you rekindle lost love? Even after ten years? When June Iparis let the Boy from the Streets walk away from her, she thought she'd never see him again. Ten years later, the two have never been farther apart. Day is now in the Antarctic, and June is now a commander in the Republic. And when the two cross paths, everything changes. Old wounds open, and new ones form. But you never really forget your first love, right? And as they grow closer, June and Day realize that maybe they were never really apart after all. ~ This is my version of what happens after the epilogue of Champion.
