The Genderbent, Characters of Legend; June and Day. It’s my rewrite, or version, of Champion, By Marie Lu. June's boy name is Julian. Day's girl name is Daniella. The scene starts on pg. 346 of Champion, by Marie Lu. Where the doctor tells June that Day has awakened from his surgery, but doesn't remember her. (Remember that their lives are swapped, so Daniella [Day] is the Prodigy, whereas Julian [June] is the Legend).

Daniel Altan Wing is just another young boy trying to survive the slums with his family. When he must take his Trial at the age of ten, he is then left to survive Lake's slums alone when he lives after being nearly killed by the Republic. This story takes place in the eyes of young Daniel as he lives after failing his trial by some crazy accident. He must learn how to live another day every day alone and injured. While scavenging, stealing, trying to protect his family, committing crimes against the Republic, and hiding from anyone after him that is. Of course this is just a bit of what the Legend had to take when growing up. ----- *A Legend Fan-fiction* Notice: Sorry to disappoint you Legend fans, but this will not be in dual perspective (with June chapters). De kommer från två skilda världar och det finns inga skäl till att deras vägar någonsin skulle korsas- inte förrän den dag då Junes bror Metias mördas och Day utpekas som huvudmisstänkt. Fast besluten att hämnas tar June själv upp jakten och de dras in i en rafflande katt-ochråtta-lek. Men genom en chockartad vändning upptäcker June och Day den egentliga orsaken till att de förts samman, oc börjar inse hur skrämmande långt Republiken är villig att gå för att skydda sina mörka hemligheter.

Just another fangirl here with tags and rants. There will be rants about Marvel, Teen Wolf, Star Wars, DC, Supernatural. And some books like Legend trilogy by Marie Lu which is absolutely fantastic, or Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi, Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld etc 💜💙💗 I'll rant about many other things eventually whether it's books, movies, shows.

The beautiful story of Day and June and the War between the Republic & Colonies ended in June's POV, with her meeting Day (or should I say Daniel) again 10 years later. However I thought it would only be fair if we got to hear Day's POV of his encounter with June I mean he was the one who lost his memory and was left behind. Has Day really forgotten all about June? Will he ever remember his past and what they had together? I know I don't really conclude the series but I just wanted a little more hope than what Marie Lu gave and I really wondered what was going on in Day's mind so this is what i came up with. Enjoy!
