He was white. White is purity, cleanliness, and innocence. At first, it felt as though he gave me all of my colors. In the end he took them away. He was colorless, draining me of my own. He was Blue. Blue is friendly, peaceful, and trustworthy. I wrote about him until my hands hurt. He seemed like the answer, with him I found my happiness. But Blue couldn't feel the things others did. A cold color. He left me with unanswered questions, crying myself to sleep. In a similar place of depression that White had. But then, he was Maroon. Maroon is a warm color. Maroon is a slightly mysterious shade of red, as he came into my life at just the right time. There wasn't an explanation, but the best of things don't have one.
