Vaidehi Chauhan was born into a world of gold and grit, but she learned early that a royal smile is the best place to hide a bleeding heart. At twenty-two, she is a storm trapped in silk, bound by a sacred marriage vow to a man who is as much a stranger as he is her husband. Rana Vanraj Singh Rathore is a decade older, a man carved from the hard stone of the Mewar hills, powerful, possessive, and dangerously restrained. To the world, she is the poised princess. To him, she is a mystery he wants to unravel slowly, breath by agonizing breath. Behind the closed doors of the royal wing, the air thickens with a tension that neither of them can voice. It is in the way his gaze lingers on the curve of her neck, or how her pulse stutters whenever he stands close enough for her to feel the heat radiating from his skin. He is a flame that consumes everything in its path, and she is the one woman who refuses to be burnt. But in a palace where every shadow holds a secret, a single word can ignite a fire that no vow can contain. As the hunger she tries to bury begins to clash with the cold duty she was raised for, Vaidehi must face the truth. Loving him isn't just a choice; it is a surrender that will either liberate her or destroy them both. This is a high-tension, mature royal Indian romance where every touch is a provocation and every glance is a sin.

When her aging father worries about her future, she agrees to marry again - not out of hope, but out of resolve. Their union is arranged, practical, and deeply uncomfortable. Both come from modern, well-educated Pakistani families. Both have careers - Adnan runs his family's real estate business; Saba works as a social worker at a girls' high school. Both know loss intimately. And yet, neither is prepared to face it reflected back at them. Adnan keeps his distance, offering respect without warmth. ˚ . ྀིྀི୧ ❤︎ ୨ ྀིྀི.˚ "You don't own me, Mr. Rathore." "Don't I? Look around, Noor. Every door in this mansion opens with my name - and you're standing in the middle of it wearing my sindoor." Noor: "Maybe you forced me into your world... but you'll never have me." Rudraksh (leaning close, whispering): "Sweetheart, I don't chase what's mine. I just wait... until you stop running." ౨ৎ.⋆˚✿˖°꒰ঌ໒꒱˚⋆𐙚。𖦹.ᡣ𐭩 🖤 The night smelled of roses... and ruin. The city slept, but the mansion on the hill burned with gold - not of celebration, but of power. She stood there, trembling in crimson silk, eyes swollen from hours of crying. 👰‍♀️ Noor Malhotra - the sacrifice wrapped as a bride. And across the room, watching her like a shadow come alive, was Rudraksh Singh Rathore - the man they called The Devil of Rajasthan. 💼 The minister. 💣 The mafia. 🕶️ The man whose word was law... and whose silence was punishment. "Why me...?" she whispered, her voice breaking. "Because you smiled once," he replied coldly, stepping closer, "and the world forgot to exist for me." Her breath hitched as his gaze dragged over her - not with lust, but obsession. The kind that didn't crave flesh, it demanded possession. "Your father owed me," he continued, slipping a ring onto her finger. "So he gave me his most precious thing." A tear rolled down Noor's cheek. He caught it mid-air, his thumb tracing it like a mark of victory. "From this night," he murmured, eyes locked on hers, "you're not Noor Malhotra anymore." "You're my Amanat." 🌑 Silence followed - heavy, consuming, sacred. Outside, the world carried on, unaware that a deal had been sealed - not with signatures, but with stolen innocence and unspoken desire. 💔 That night, the devil was gifted a soul made of light. And he promised himself one thing - If heaven ever tried to take her back... 🔥 he'd burn it down.

My fifth one-shot idea and definitely the longest one I've written so far. I got a little carried away with this one, but I really enjoyed exploring the emotions, misunderstandings, and complicated relationship between Naruto and Sasuke. If readers find this story interesting and would like to see more of their journey, I may turn it into a full-length story in the future. As always, let me know your thoughts and whether you'd like to see this idea expanded. And one more thing......this was originally supposed to be an Omegaverse story. However, while writing the beginning, I completely forgot to include some of the usual Omegaverse elements, such as secondary gender titles and scent descriptions that reflect the characters' emotions and moods. At this point, adding all of those details would push the story well beyond 8,000 words. So if I ever decide to write a full version of this idea, I'll make sure to incorporate those elements properly from the start.
