Alyssa drifts through life in New York City, caught between the suffocating weight of existence and the nagging feeling that something isn't right. When she stumbles upon two books with opposing views on the world-one preaching obedience to the system, the other advocating for personal freedom-she sets off a chain of events that spirals far beyond her control. As she exposes their contents online, the government takes notice, erasing all evidence and warning her to stay silent. But silence has never been Alyssa's style. With the lines between conspiracy and reality growing thinner, she turns to the one person she trusts-her boyfriend, Tommy-only to find doubt creeping in where loyalty once stood. Is she uncovering a dangerous truth, or is she unraveling? As the world around her becomes more surreal, Alyssa must decide: keep fighting for what she believes in or accept that maybe, just maybe, she's lost herself along the way. -This story was written with the intent on supporting the simulation theory, and other topics others might not find suitable. Please read with an open mind. Or a closed one, whichever is best for you. This story was written before the orange man became elected again.-

The story follows 17-year-old Thomas Anderson from the real world, a college student who studies physics while also writing the screenplay for his own sci-fi film based on The Matrix video game. Over time, however, the real world becomes unbearably dull to him because of bullying at college and constant criticism of his screenplay. But one day, everything changes. The code of reality itself begins to malfunction, and Thomas is approached by Morpheus, who sees him as the Chosen One and offers him those famous pills-the red pill and the blue pill. Thomas also encounters Agent Smith from his reality, who wants to destroy the Matrix and the universes themselves in order to create his own universe and become a god. As time passes, Thomas discovers that the Matrix is not simply a simulation-it is a quantum protective barrier separating multiple universes. Each universe has its own reality, time zone, and flow of motion. The Matrix exists between these universes, keeping them apart and preventing them from collapsing into one another. If the Matrix is destroyed, the universes will begin to contract, while time itself will accelerate to an insane speed, eventually causing a catastrophic explosion that will wipe out all life in both realities. Thomas from our reality eventually reaches the City of Machines (Zion), where he meets another Thomas Anderson-played by Keanu Reeves-and another version of Trinity from a different universe. They become his mentors, teaching him about the existence of reverse time and the deeper laws governing the multiverse. Over time, Thomas from our reality transforms from a bored, ordinary teenager into an elusive and powerful hero. Quote: "The Matrix is not a simulation. It is a shield-and that shield is beginning to crack."

Quem está lendo esse conto, afinal? É você? É bom que esteja bem certo disso. Quem está conduzindo sua vida, afinal? Bom... É bom estar bem certo disso também. Quem sabe o tipo de consequências que pensar sobre isso pode trazer? Melhor mesmo é nem se questionar. Pensando bem, talvez você não devesse ler esse conto, realmente.

Featuring: My dissociation I've recently been thinking about the simulation theory, and to me it makes sense. This also covers the surface strange mysteries you should check out. It is full my questions about basic things, and me sounding very dumb. BITCH THIS DOESN'T EVEN NEED A WARNING If you struggle with dissociation this book may not be the best for you. This covers topics of why I believe the world is a simulation, which could be harmful for people who are trying to recover. Please read at your own risk. But also some of the chapters are pretty science-y which aren't as bad, but either I'm just putting a warning. Some may cover sensitive topics that I will put a warning on.

Rain slickens the cobblestones of 1948 Chicago, but Private Investigator Arthur Vance knows the dark isn't playing by the rules. Murdered men are vanishing into static before the coroner arrives. Streetcars run on infinite, repeating loops. And at the edge of the city, the ocean gives way to a wall of raw, blinding fog. When a routine missing-persons case drags Arthur into the underbelly of a city that feels eerily staged, he uncovers a terrifying secret: his world isn't real. It's an early, unstable build of a digital sanctuary-and the System is preparing to wipe it clean. Long before the events of Dormant, the very first reset protocol was activated. This is the story of the detective who tried to stop it.

"The Matrix" is a thought-provoking and evocative series of poems that delves into the theme of education and the societal constructs that confine individuals within a system. The poems portray education as a complex matrix, a web of rules and degrees that often restricts the true potential of young minds. It highlights the conformity expected from students and the standardized testing culture that reduces knowledge to a mere plot. The poems emphasize the disillusionment faced by individuals as they enter the world after acquiring degrees, realizing that success is often elusive and unfulfilling. It depicts society as a chessboard, where power rests in the hands of kings and queens while the masses struggle as pawns. However, amidst the despair, this series also highlights whispers of rebellion and a longing for liberation. It calls for unity and the collective effort to challenge and reshape the educational matrix. It is suggested that education should transcend the creation of obedient workers and instead nurture minds, ignite passions, and empower individuals to seek truth and freedom. Overall, "The Matrix" is a powerful and resonant piece that prompts reflection on the purpose of education, the limitations of societal norms, and the potential for collective action to bring about change.
