Frisk kończy ponownie Genocide Run, by dowiedzieć się, że utknęła w pułapce, i nigdy nie osiągnie tego najprawdziwszego pacyfistycznego zakończenia, tak jak inni. Tym razem postanawia porozmawiać z Charą. Udaje się jej "wycisnąć" z niej, że TA linia czasowa nie jest prawdziwa. Moc wspomnień i wyrzuty sumienia pozwalają Charze cofnąć Frisk do prawdziwej rzeczywistości, która wygląda o wiele inaczej. Pierwszym człowiekiem jest właśnie Frisk, a Asriel jeszcze się narodził. Gaster wciąż istnieje. Frisk podejmuje się trudnego wyzwania i postanawia odmienić los całych podziemi i doprowadzić ich do realnego zakończenia, gdzie wszyscy mają swój "happy ending". Ale czy na pewno? Czy Frisk podoła wyzwaniu? Tego dowiesz się czytając kolejne rozdziały TRUETALE. Jeżeli masz jakieś sugestie, zachęcam do udzielania się.
