"She wanted peace, but she had no idea what a nightmare she pulled her loved ones in. " My best friend gave up a while ago. In other words, she killed herself. Since then, we've all been a wreck. This is a book for every person who had to go through the guilt.

Kira writes many letters to J., an estranged childhood friend, in her diary. "Is this the beginning of the end, or the end of the beginning?"

This is my 'May is Memoir Month' submission. Hope you like it! It is rather embarrassing moment I had a few years ago that is still embedded in my mind. @-@

A young girl moves from northern BC to Vancouver in 1968 so her mom can go to Simon Fraser University. The adults are telling her it's an adventure, but for her it's an upheaval from stability to chaos featuring missing dad, women's lib, draft dodgers, and weirdos living in her house. The only constant is her annoying older brother, and how sad is that?

With nowhere to turn, we sat there in the enclosed space as we sunk into the monster's abyss. The rain had lashed the island of Jamaica. During this time, we risked the journey in the dark night.

Her heart has become barricaded, keeping everyone out of her past, and even the friends she has left don't know her entire story. Travis Benson has no idea who he is anymore. After getting rid of his best friend since diaper days because his parents split up for a while, he has completely changed his image. Trying to get rid of the pain, he becomes one of the school's biggest play boys. He stopped believeing in true love a long time ago, now believeing it's humanely impossible to experience. But, what'll happen during Abigail's junior year of high school? She's just trying to survive with the pieces of her heart left behind and find out what she did wrong. He's just trying to figure out who he is and find out what 'love' really means. What does God have in store for these two unlikely teens?
