Twenty-six-year-old Tori Williams catches her white fiancé in bed with her coworker three months before their wedding, discovering an eight-month affair that shatters everything she believed about love and her own worth. Devastated by betrayal and drowning in PTSD, she flees to Kyoto, Japan on a two-year MFA scholarship in design, desperate to escape the wreckage of her life in Atlanta. Arriving broken and barely functional, Tori navigates crushing loneliness, brutal culture shock, and hypervisibility as a Black woman in homogeneous Japan. She faces constant stares, microaggressions, and the exhausting work of existing in a country where she'll always be Other. Through traditional joinery workshops, she meets Ren Beaumont-a half-Japanese, half-French architecture student with devastating good looks and an emotionally unavailable playboy reputation, haunted by his own family wounds and running from intimacy through meaningless hookups. As they learn kintsugi-the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, making it more beautiful for having been broken-two shattered people begin to recognize themselves in each other's cracks. Tori must decide if she can trust again after annihilating betrayal, while Ren confronts whether he's capable of the vulnerability real love requires. Through cherry blossom seasons and autumn leaves, temple gardens and late-night workshops, they discover that healing doesn't mean becoming who you were before breaking-it means honoring the cracks while building something entirely new. This is a story about surviving trauma, finding home in unexpected places, chosen family that saves lives, and learning that broken and whole aren't opposites-they're the same thing, gold-filled and beautiful. ©️ Relle H

Meera Sharma's heart stopped when her parents said "Malhotra." That name. THAT family. The boy who made her fourteen-year-old heart flutter with just one kind gesture in a school corridor. Seven years later, fate was handing her the impossible-marriage to Arjun Malhotra. She said yes before they even finished the sentence. But the man who walked into her living room wasn't the warm, smiling boy from her memories. He doesn't remember her. He doesn't remember anyone.

A Seungmin fan fic about life and not giving up. "I'll make sure to stand up for you if shit like that ever happens at our school. Like people need to get their shit together and wake up." I lean back against the window of the bus. He smiles at his hands as he says; "I could really use a friend thats willing to do that you know." I roll my eyes at him playfully. "Alright we can be friends, but don't take my kindness for granted." I jokingly point my finger at him. "I promise i won't." He says chuckling. PSA: I'm only using Seungmin's name and other member's name for reference. This book has nothing to do with skz or being an idol. His character does not represent him in real life same goes for any of the other Skz members included in the story. I wrote some parts of every character based on my own observations of them through. Another thing to keep in mind when reading this book is that I live with a brain that runs 1000 miles per hour. So if the storyline doesn't add up in some places, that's why. ( but I try to edit and read through it regularly so it's still one cohesive story and not a bunch of different ones lol) Oh and English isn't my first language so sorris for any grammatical mistakes. ( that one was on purpose )

Memoriah's story is not told through chapters, but through letters-each one a fragment of her soul, stitched together to form a life both tender and unflinching. This epistolary book unfolds the intimate journey of Memoriah as she writes to the people who shaped her: those she loved, those she lost, and those she could never forget. Through confessions, apologies, and unspoken truths, her letters reveal the struggles of identity, the ache of memory, and the quiet strength it takes to keep moving forward. Raw, vulnerable, and deeply personal, this book offers not just the story of one woman's life, but a mirror to anyone who has ever tried to make sense of their own heart through words left on a page.

It's very difficult to be depressed. I know this not only because I'm a psychiatrist, but also because I have been through that darkness myself. When you feel that obnoxious absence of happiness, nothing matters, it feels like you are alone in your pain. But you are not. Depression is a common problem that many people face, and it can be overcome with the right help. This workbook is here to guide you on a journey of discovery and healing, using evidence-based tools and strategies to overcome the challenges, reclaim the joy in your life and see beyond the dark shades of depression. ⚠️ TW: this workbook mentions suicide and other severe mental health problems. ______________ Still in progress and subject to continuous editing.

Zachary Yoshida came to Greywood University ready to start fresh. Openly gay, passionate about teaching, and determined to find his place. What he didn't expect was Gabriel Beckett. The golden boy. The hockey captain. The mayor's son who could only love him in the dark. For three months, Zachary made himself smaller, accepted midnight visits and empty promises, convinced himself that crumbs were enough. But when you're taught from childhood that love means accepting less than you deserve, how do you learn to demand more? With the help of four friends who refuse to let him disappear, Zachary begins the hardest journey of his life: learning that loving someone shouldn't mean losing yourself. A story about toxic love, found family, and discovering that being loved out loud isn't a luxury, it's the bare minimum. TW: Emotional manipulation, gaslighting, internalized homophobia, parental emotional neglect, mentions of alcoholism/addiction (side character)

The Silence That Speaks by Abby Wren This is a book about the things we don't always say out loud. About pain, love, memory, and finding yourself again. Each poem is a piece of my journey - through silence, through sorrow, through strength. Maybe you'll see a bit of yourself in these pages. Maybe they'll help you feel a little less alone.
