Kenity Gray doesn't want to give up on life. But life seems to have given up on her. She's tried relentlessly to fix herself, but it's gone without change. For the first time in her youth, she's decided to attempt to better herself with counseling. Maybe some rich doctor will fix me, the thought crossed her mind. Her first day there, she meets a pig-tailed little girl in the waiting room. That may be the single most meaningful adventure of her life.

A town that's invisible to the outside world, and intertwined with fate. In Herington, everyone has a fate. A pre-planned life. A given school, job, even friends. Everything happens for a reason. Iris had no idea what she was getting into when she moved there.

And every wrinkle tells of a fight And every dying cell tells of a loss.

Years ago I started "Letters to Unknown" this was a space for me to express myself and say things I never got the chance to say out loud. It's been almost four years since the last time I added to the story and I feel it's time for something new. In these four short years I have not only found the strength to look for peace in myself but those around me as well. My goal when writing has always been to share my stories and my perspective in hopes it might help someone reading.

poetry inspired by my own healing process

Kia Lerra was suffering. Badly. After moving halfway across the country, she wasn't sure if she could make it past the next two years of high school. With her mommy issues and pounds of baggage, who would want to try and break down her walls anyway? Ronan Davis was not suffering. At all. He had tons of friends, good grades, and was universally known for his charming demeanor. Everything in life was perfectly fine, and why the hell would he want to change that?

This is all non-fiction and I'm spreading awareness and trying to let other people know that they aren't alone :)
