Each child is given an object. The object will tell the child to love or killed. If not read correctly the child might accidentally kill their future mate. The object will give off a color if to love the person on the other end. Jerome is slightly color blind so it will be difficult for him to read. Mitchell, however, knows what his object means. Lachlan goes missing. No one knows why, or who took him, or where he went. There was a man, a lone, unidentified man on the security footage that lead him away from the bar while his friends stood, waiting for him. With no witnesses willing to come forward and hope running out fast, what is there to do? First a day passes. Then a week. Everyone is frantic, pleading his return- pleading for information. Someone must know what happened, someone must have seen him. Someone took him, and that someone is still holding him. If they hadn't killed him already. Time ticks on. Vikk can't continue a normal life like this, no one can move on. There are photographs, memorials, tributes and everyone is still pleading for someone to come forward, but no one does. How can anyone move on like this?

Adam tests a potion which makes him a girl. Shit goes down, making him pregnant, causing things to get weird and awkward quickly. Meanwhile Seto is having his own problems, like thinking up ways to get Brice to love him.

Lachlan and Rob were trying their best to keep their little group alive, making the most of the natural resources around them while Preston battles with the idea of religion, old versus new. Harry and Vikk simply want to find peace in their life, stability with a group of people they could trust. There isn't much trust in a world where resources are scarce. All of them dream of more, of a better life. Can they find what they were looking for? This story is also a Vikklan and Poofless story, which is why those ships are tagged.

Jerome and Mitch are best friends, who would do anything for each other. Anything. When something tragic happens to Mitch, Jerome takes action, helping his best buddy. But will they become more than just buddies? Will this story have a happy ending? I don't even know and I'm writing it. I struggle with being exceptional. Sometimes I write not-that-shitty stuff.

It was against the rule to talk to boys, yet Jerome comforts him- and then suggests something crazy. A way to get out. A way to be free, live their lives the way they want to. But to do that, both have to cope with knowing that if they left, they would never talk to their families again. But first, they need to contact the outside world, and to do that, they need to be married. This book is based on partially on I am not Esther, a book about a girl in a religious cult, and partially on a real life religious cult. Gloriavale is a Christian fundamentalist group near Greymouth, existing separate from our modern world. I highly suggest searching Gloriavale on YouTube and reading the book for some more detail about this world.
