After years of waiting Merlin who now goes by Emrys gives up waiting for Arthur, but when a new teenage boy who also goes by the name Merlin enters the town and starts high school at Camelot high, after going to live with his Uncle Guise, and helps to take care of Emrys in his "old age" and tells him stories of what is happening at the school, and Merlin realizes that maybe Arthur has returned just in a way he didn't imagine. Reincarnation, along with his old friends and even himself?

Modern day Merthur. I suck at descriptions. This is not even a description. I'm sorry but it's something I'm working on. I don't own any of the characters I only made up the whole romance part. Starting at the beginning of Season 4, Lancelot and Merlin manage to close the rift without a sacrifice. With Arthur curious about magic, Merlin finds himself revealing his talents to the most trusted of the knights and to the prince. Together they decide that they will bring magic back to Camelot when Arthur becomes king. Also, a funny Merlin meme in every chapter. For no reason, just cause I liked them. And I don't own Merlin, obviously. Just the story.

Merlin and Gwen meet in the forest while Merlin is heading for Camelot. Merlin not knowing his destiny yet gets a small crush on the prince. Better yet Arthur becomes obsessed with Merlin. Gwen and Morgana watch on the sidelines having a romance of their own.

"Please welcome, the Knights of Cenred!" Another bunch of knights... another shitty kingdom... so many dishes later... Arthur was making peace with all the kingdoms of the land. And everyone was meeting in Camelot. "Welcome, the Knights of Storno!" My head snapped up. Arthur looked just as surprised. The beautiful blue capes, the majestic horses, the royal seal... Storno... They're still alive. Prince Otho bowed, as everyone else had. The knights bowed, as everyone else had. They took their place beside Cenred's men. Everyone was staring. Camelot is still under the rule of King Uther and he tries to destroy all magic since it was the cause of his wife's death years ago when Arthur was born. What he doesn't know is what Arthur picked up on his way into the world. Arthur worries for the fate of all the Wizards and Witches in the world be he can't let his father know of his worries. Then comes along a handsome young man who says some strange things because there was no way he would be beat by this man. Soon this man becomes an important person in his life. They are together so often that they start feeling things but neither of them want to accept that it's the real thing but when Arthur finds out his secret it could either be the end of them or the beginning especially since Merlin too, learns one that Arthur holds dear to himself.

Merlin had been coping with all the hurtful words that Arthur said to him. But what if once Arthur went too far, or Merlin broke? Which one would come first? After Arthur's death, Merlin is caught alone with out him for centuries. He has lost count of how long it's been. After all, Merlin is nothing without magic, but turns out he is nothing without Arthur. Merlin is acting weird, more weird than usual, he's quiet and withdrawn. Can Arthur find out what's wrong?
