Starting at the beginning of Season 4, Lancelot and Merlin manage to close the rift without a sacrifice. With Arthur curious about magic, Merlin finds himself revealing his talents to the most trusted of the knights and to the prince. Together they decide that they will bring magic back to Camelot when Arthur becomes king. Also, a funny Merlin meme in every chapter. For no reason, just cause I liked them. And I don't own Merlin, obviously. Just the story.

One day on a hunting trip a sorcerer is about to blast Arthur intil Merlin jumps in front of him and gets blasted instead. Once the smoke of the blast is cleared every one runs to see if Merlin is ok. He is but the blast as turned him to a her! Will he be able to turn back or is he stuck like this forever. And will Arthur's true feelings for Merlin finally come out or will one of the other knights steal Merlin heart from him. Merlin's magic has been taken away, but he still needs to save Arthur from his fate. In order to do that, he goes to the greatest extreme.

Merthur. Arthur and Merlin make it to the lake just in time. Arthur is saved! But as they return to Camelot, all's not as they left and who is responsible for it all? The queen. Secrets now exposed. Gwen's betrayal brings on whole new level of torture. Arthur and Merlin struggle to dethrone her, but when they do, they banish her. What new struggles do they face?

This is a Merthur (MerlinxArthur) fanfiction based off of the BBC show 'Merlin'. I do not own the characters. Also, this may not be totally accurate. Cover is not mine.

Five years had passed since Arthur had become King, and three since the magic ban had been repealed. Merlin had left Camelot soon after, convinced that his work here was done and he wasn't needed anymore, to live a life of solitude and mystery as Emrys. But when a ball is held at Camelot to celebrate the first steps to the forming of Albion, an invitation finds its way to Emrys, and with it, a way for Merlin to find closure. Would he leave everything be as he left it three years ago, or would he take the chance to move on with his life?
