Still based in Camelot , Merlin is Arthur's new serveant as you all probably excpected. Merlin realizes working for him isn't as bad as he thought and Arthur couldn't agree more .

A modern Merthur AU where Merlin is a police officer teaching Arthur how to be one. Merlin notices that Arthur looks to be like King Arthur but he knows he hasn't been resurrected in over years. When Merlin finally notices it all goes weird between them.

After the scene where Arthur says "Thank you" and supposedly dies, Merlin is able to still get him to the lake of Avalon in time to save him. Basically what the title says...

After hundreds of years of waiting for Arthur to return, something very interesting happens. Merlin discovers he is a thing that people call, "bisexual". After learning of all the shootings that happen, he couldn't believe that one would murder another because of who they were attracted to, so he began to attend pride parades in order to stop any shootings with his magic. Until one day he a boy on the opposite side of a fence catches his eye as he's marching, a male looking of about 25 with blond hair and blue eyes. Merlin doesn't understand why but as he's walking, every part of him is willing him to turn around and confront the man. He can only think of one explanation, Arthur.

(Edited Story Description) Arthur has known about Merlin's magic since they all became knights of the round table, soon becoming a couple. After Uthur died and Arthur became king, he married Guinevere for an heir. Arthur takes Merlin out to the field for their anniversary after finding a page in Merlin's book the night before. Written on the page says that they can create a child. Merlin uses his magic to do the spell. An accident happens. Twins. The fight at Camlann kills many, including Arthur. Merlin leaves the two babes in Queen Gwen's care, her and the others unknowing that she's pregnant with Arthur's legitimate heir. He goes back to Camelot almost 25 years later finally meeting his son and daughter for the first time. 1987. Merlin lives by the lake, his children visiting when the lake splits in half and out walks Arthur. Months of their children story telling and teaching of all that's happened make Arthur cry way too many times. Of course, Merlin sits on the sidelines watching the love of his life catch up to him.
