Thanos was a law student. At least, that's what everyone saw. But deep down, he had a burning passion that no amount of fine print could ever drown. Writing.
At first, he expressed his creativity through poetry, an art he considered a survival tool. But he always wanted to just sit down one day and write his own book. After an unfortunate chain of events, he finally did it. He wrote not just a novel, but a chronicle. 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms: Ghost of Wei'.
Unfortunately though, it never got much traction. He was very sad about it, not only because the story was meaningful to him, but because he really wanted to build his own community around it, a Hub. A place where everyone would be heard and safe to express their thoughts on the protagonist's story.
That is until one day, on his first ever train ride, he came across one of his few , very loyal fans. A person that would inspire the inner writer once more to take up the pen and rebel against daily life's atrocities.
In the first ever conversation of the Hub, writer and reader will connect in a conversation that soon transcends the small talk and the narrative, to tackle more philosophical topics around the nature of creating, the usage and role of modern technologies and a secret the writer never truly meant to keep.

Author's Note:
The Hub is a story written for Wattpad's Open Novela Contest 2026. It's a general fiction, semi-autobiographical journey about my life and experiences as a new Wattpad creator and writer. I chose the prompt #22 ("Your book never found much success, but on a train ride you spot a stranger reading it with the biggest smile you've ever seen."). I love the journey of Boze in Ghost of Wei. Creating it was a process that helped me process a lot of pain and turn it into art instead of misery. But what I love even more are you, the readers. The people who read with me and motivate me to keep writing. This one is for you ✌
