The first time we met, we were just children in kindergarten.
He was a frail little boy with kind eyes and a heart so gentle that everyone used to say he was as sweet and sensitive as a little girl. I, on the other hand, was his complete opposite-far from graceful, painfully blunt, and never afraid to speak my mind.
Fifteen years have passed since then, and somehow, we've never let go of each other. We've grown up side by side, sharing dreams, fears, heartbreaks, and the kind of secrets you only trust to one person.
Well... There is one secret I can't bring myself to tell him.
Not because I don't trust him, but because I'm terrified of what the truth might do to us. I'm afraid it would change everything between us-and I'm almost certain it wouldn't be for the better.
So I keep it locked away, hidden behind careless smiles, inside jokes, and conversations that never quite reach the one thing I truly want to say.
Because some secrets don't just have the power to change a friendship.
They have the power to destroy it.
