There's are many almost's in our lives. Whether they be good or bad. Whether they're you're decision or someone else's. Every decision, every event, every person has an almost. These are my almost's.

These were just some of my poems or short thoughts that I couldn't form into poems just yet. I wanted to share them because I know my experiences aren't original or unique but things everyone experiences. But I was always shy or afraid.

I had always been a normal teenager, I kept to myself and that was always how life went. That was until the day I decided to be more outgoing and really push the limits of my antisocial state. As soon as I showed up to the party the immediate scent of beer hit me like a tsunami wave. I danced ,I drank ,I had fun, but all that stopped when I fell asleep on the couch. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It had been 2 years since the horrifying incident took place. I still faced his cold soul every day in the corridor. The look he would give me, the look that he almost knew I would never tell anyone what really took place that night. -------------------------- Dari is struggling 2 years after a life changing incident happened, but what will occur when the Leo Rager shows up in school and tries to break down the barrier Dari has built.

I've written poetry for years, but have hid it away and chose not to share it with the world. Here are my collective poetic works. I hope they bring you joy and make you smile, or relate to you in some way shape or form so that you know you're not alone.

I believe in you. Yes, YOU. YOU CAN MAKE IT THROUGH THIS!! After losing many very loved people to suicide, I struggled with wanting to die myself. For two (coming up on three) years I have been fighting a constant war. On my diagnosis, on my subconscious, on my (lack of) self love, on myself. I, to this day, have days where instead of making it onto here, my poetry is written in the little bubbles of blood coming from my arms. The biggest thing I have come to learn in my struggle is that I didn't ever want to die, I wanted my life as I knew it to end. I hope you enjoy my poetry, lovelies.
