Devi stepped into APS Superspeciality Hospital with one dream. To make her mark in cardio-thoracic surgery. She believed skill and sincerity would be enough. She was hopeful. Kind. Uncomplicated. Falling for Akshat was never part of the plan. She did not know he was the CEO. She did not know that loving him meant entering a world where every step would test her worth as the future bahu of the powerful Singhal family. Just as she begins to find her footing, a Me Too accusation against her consultant drags her into a storm she never saw coming. Truth feels dangerous. Silence feels safer. And every choice comes with a price. In a place ruled by power, reputation, and greed, Devi must decide who she wants to be when everything is on the line. This is not just a story of love. It is a story of courage, betrayal, and the cost of standing up for what is right.

If You're Reading This... is a collection of raw, deeply personal diary entries that explore trauma, silence, and the long, complicated process of healing. Written in quiet, unguarded moments, these pages capture what it feels like to carry pain you don't always know how to name. Let alone share. Honest and unfiltered, this book isn't about perfect healing. It's about surviving, reflecting, and slowly finding your way back to yourself.

Every morning that I enter my office, I am afraid. Every time my boss calls me into his cabin, panic rises in my stomach like bile. Every promotion, every pay-check brings along with it a new fear. Even coffee spilled on my shirt, even a missing pen. If there is a hell of Earth? It is contained within the four walls of Mr. Santana's cabin. ( entry for Amazon Prime's #Panic Writing Contest )

Vicky was the president of The Holy Blue Bellareyo High School, the country's premier all-girls Catholic high school. Vicky was stressed because, a few days ago, there was a student who posted on social media about how her teacher sexually harassed her during a religious retreat and about how the school did not protect her even if she reported the incident to her homeroom adviser. The one who posted was a 14-year-old student who was usually shy and reserved, but in her post, she was full of ballistic anger and intimidating clarity when she named Ms. Fairydoughmadz as the one who sexually harassed her. "Ms. Fairydoughmadz? A female harasser? When will this end?" Vicky thought. When Vicky was concocting rationalizations on why Ms. Fairydoughmadz can't be a sexual harasser, her room began to shake. Vicky's glass trophies, which were displayed on her bookshelf, all fell to the floor and shattered into pieces. "Noooooo! My life achievements!" Vicky cried, trying to save her trophies. Icy Maria started meowing in fear. Vicky's husband appeared and yelled at her to stop being so stupid. He pushed her to the floor and commanded her to go under her desk while he scrambled to a nearby table. Vicky prayed to god for the tremors to stop. After some time, it did stop. For Vicky though, the earthquake felt like it had lasted forever. When everything was still again, she looked for her cellphone and called her children. None of them were harmed, they assured her, and yes, her grandchildren were safe as well. Her husband suddenly offered to cook her a meal. How strange, Vicky thought. More strange things happened when Vicky went to her office the next day. Her staff was aghast at her victim-blaming jokes, the school's all-male board was becoming feminist, and people were saying things like "trauma-informed" and "survivor-centered". What happened? What did the earthquake bring? Vicky was about to get shaken.

Inspired by the "Me Too" and "Times Up" movement. Why have we a society swept sexual assault under the rug as if it is a normal thing that happens in the daily life? Why do we Women have to worry about not being paid as much as our male coworkers? We must end the silence and raise awareness. In my way of helping I will be writing poems and statements to help spread the word of the whole movement.

Truth always sounds good when said out loud than inside people's head, so I wanted to start this book with just truth, but if you expect me to write just truth alone here, then I must apologize for disappointing you, because I don't want this book to be my psycho-therapy session where I cry my heart out ......... Being understood feels good and makes you special, but feminism is one of the few ideology that is being criticised without being understood in the first place, join me in this journey of how I became a feminist by just trying to understand it.
