In a world where 80% of the population has a superpower, also called "quirks" crime rates started to skyrocket. Their quirks made it easier for criminals to commit crime and they took advantage of that. That's where heroes come in. A hero's job is to stop criminals and villains from doing evil deeds, and that's exactly what the group of heroes "Sanders Sides" is doing. Or at least, trying to do... There's a particular class of freshman in UA high who seems to be messing with them.

(quick note this is a redux-ed version of my prior fanfic 'A Friend', as in simple terms it escalated to quickly for story pacing) Izuku couldn't believe it - his hero, his idol - was right in front of him, All might in all his glory had saved him. He had prevented him from dying to the sludge villain. But now most important of all Izuku could ask him the question that had remained unanswered all his life. The question that had seen him through the darkest times and the best of times. Could he be a hero? The words weighed down his tongue like lead, the anticipation burned in his chest begging for release. Steadying himself he began to ask with stars in his eyes "All Might-" "Sorry citizen, but I've got to get this villain to the police!" All Might said hurriedly as he prepared to leap away. The words Izuku had begun to say had gone unheard, unanswered. Seeing this Izuku couldn't help it but lunge forwards in a desperate bid to grab onto the man's leg and prevent him from leaving. Only for a hand - firm like iron and just as unyielding - to grab his shoulder before he could grab onto his Idol's leg.
