I wrote this for the #MidnightSunMovie contest but I had fun with it.

Jack throws a wild house party at his house. But amongst the alcohol and music, he spots a girl isolated in the corner. He tries to reach out, to talk to her, but the party is filled with swirling faces, and he wonders if he'll reach her before sunrise...

Three run-ins. Two people. One spectacular night. And all she had to do was...leap! A short story about two people who decide to go skinny-dipping. You had to write a 500-word story about young love blossoming over the course of one night. NOT AN EASY TASK! But the theme of the contest and the challenge of trying to pack as much story as possible into 500 words intrigued me. So, I gave it a go! A short Story about two friends who can't seem to come to terms with their feelings for each other and when one of them is ready, the outcome will be told. The two friends are Lia and Kyle, they both met when they were young and have been friends ever since, one day they were walking home from school, late at night when they were attacked. Now Lia was attacked first but Kyle stepped in the way and took the blade. He was bleeding but the mugger was so afraid that he ran away. Ever since then both Kyle and Lia have felt something for each other but do not want to believe it, better yet, they do not want their friendship to end because of these feelings, but Kyle could not accept the terms and now this is what we get.
