In which Alex and Miles find themselves in a world they never thought possible (also they accidentally adopt an alien child)

Alex is the current owner of Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino. His main problem follows: having too much time to overthink everything and or having nobody to talk about his problems with. Alex is the shy kid at school, called 'a nerd' by many. Miles on the other hand is the spoiled, extremely popular kid who doesn't care about anybody. But little does he know that geeky Alex is going to be the one that will bring warmth to his heart again, and make him feel ways he couldn't even imagine before...

Mia Charlsing has been best friends with Miles Kane for as long as she can remember. Now the pair have grown up together and Miles band 'The Rascals' is becoming more popular he has made new band friends and is dying to introduce them to his awaiting best friend. The dare devils themselves the Arctic Monkeys. What will Mia's first impressions be of Alex Turner, Jamie Cook, Matt Helders and Nick O'Malley be on a night out to the monkeys apartment...friendships, romance, problems, gigs, and new experiences.

Mitch hated his parents. They had never cared about him but this year they had taken things too far, they decided to ship him off to Camp Wonderland or as he liked to call it, Camp hell hole. The last summer he had to spend with his best friend and boyfriend was ruined. But what if he met an amazing group of people that could change his life forever? Scott had to stay focused, his brother was his top priority in all things and he had to get the money to keep them both in school but at least he had the best job on the planet. Camp Wonderland, his summer home for as long as he can remember, being a counselor was something that he had always dreamed about and he was lucky that things were going so well. But life cant always work out the way he plans and the summer quickly becomes one he'll never forget. *Hi guys!! Miles and Al get bored after school one evening, and things go from there Based off of my sad attempt at a first kiss lol

It's 1993, and seven year old Miles Kane is having a tough time of it. His parents' recent divorce is making him feel mixed up and angry, causing him to misbehave. A school trip to see The Opal, an 18th century sailing ship that has come to Liverpool, should be a source of excitement, but alas Miles gets into trouble before he can even step aboard, and he is sent to cool down in a coach designated for troubled children. He encounters a funny-looking little boy being bullied by bigger boys and he feels compelled to speak to him. He discovers his new little friend is called Alex Turner and has come from a school in Sheffield. He's too scared to go on board the ship and has been left alone by his friends. Miles can't explain it in his young brain, but it feels like him and Alex have been friends forever. Alex's fear spurs Miles to be brave and they decide to go onto the boat together. Both little boys are blown away by the huge ship. Miles weirdly feels as though he has been on it before, and when they visit the captain's quarters, they get a huge surprise. Alex and Miles bond instantly, and when the time comes for them to be parted, Miles looks for any excuse to be allowed to go to Sheffield. Alex needs him, and life just wouldn't seem right if Miles wasn't there to look after him.

On the occasion of their sixteenth anniversary together, Alex and Miles decide to go to dinner at his favourite restaurant. Unfortunately, Alex's jealousy gets in the way of their dream evening.

Miles Kane and Alex Turner had both made a name for themselves, but the monkeys were lacking ideas and Alex needed some inspiration; so did Miles. Lucky for them their helpful managers have decided that maybe the two artists in need could need each other to serve help to their music careers. Little did they know it would come to be more; much, much more.
