Julian is thirty years old with a bland corporate job and feeling increasingly isolated and uncertain. His life starts to change when he meets Herb, an esoteric, foul-mouthed veteran who drinks too much and enjoys breaking apart old appliances, and Lydia, a neighbor with sass, confidence, and a happy-go-lucky disposition. After receiving an unusual assignment from work, Julian begins a journey of self-exploration and discovery. Faced with mounting pressure from his imperceptive CEO, he ponders his past, present, and future, and while embarking upon new experiences like dismantling a refrigerator and loitering on city buses, he tries to make sense of the competing forces influencing his career, his relationships, and his sense of purpose in life. The Sparrow's Path is a heartfelt, joyous, and meditative deliberation on millennials and modern urban society, a coming-of-age novel for adults who don't quite have it all figured out.

What do you do when the world expects you to have it all figured out, but you're still learning who you are? First Steps Into the Unknown is a collection of raw, heartfelt poems that capture the messy, beautiful journey of early adulthood-a time when the road ahead feels uncertain, but the desire to find yourself is stronger than ever. These poems explore graduation, self-doubt, broken expectations, and the complex, sometimes confusing world of relationships and dating. In your early 20s, you're expected to know what's next, but what happens when you don't? They reflect on that uncertain time, when the future seemed unclear, and your own worth was something you had to learn to define. From the crushing weight of societal pressure to the quiet strength that comes from learning to trust yourself-and to navigate connections with others-these poems explore what it means to take the first step, even when you don't know where you're going. It's about the courage to embrace the unknown and let go of everything that doesn't serve you. This is for anyone who's ever felt lost, unsure, or just trying to figure it out. It's for anyone who's ever dared to move forward when they didn't know what they were moving toward. Because the first step isn't about the destination-it's about trusting yourself to keep going.

There is this saying: If you're strong enough to let yourself fall in love and give everything you have, you will be strong enough to let it all go...strong enough to pick up all the pieces and start over. And that is basically what I am trying to do with my life right now. Out of the blue I got dumped. I thought him and I are supposed to be together forever and that nothing could come between us. Oh how foolish I was... But honestly I really hate it when I don't understand why someone did something. thats probably why it is so hard for me to pick up my pieces. But whatever...this is my way of coping with the breakup and everything else a millennium nowadays struggles with.

I'm sure most have read the poem Howl by Allen Ginsberg. When I first read it, I understood it to be a lengthy and visceral description of that moment in time through his eyes. It was so captivating that I decided to do the very same with my generation. I'm not totally sure if this is appropriate on this platform but I wanted to know what anyone else besides myself thought. If you're gracious enough to read it and respond, thank you so much! If I've already lost your interest, I still hope the best for you. Anyway, here it is:
