Being born with a single Shinigami eye, she is able to see people's lifespans, as well as the occasional Shinigami . . . or Ikagami, also known as Gods of Life. With help from a God of Life, she manages to find Light Yagami, who takes a great interest in her abilities, intending to use her for his personal gain. But who truly is the one in control?

Misa and Light get into a fight about how much time she's been spending with L. She runs out of his apartment and starts to cry, L finds her, and she brings him home to eat because he's hungry. They eventually confess and Misa realizes she doesn't love Light, she loves L.

A shinigami's life is so boring, even though you have the power to kill any human at any time, in reality, it can get boring. (Y/n) is a shinigami, the shinigami king's most trusted subject. (Y/n) has been alive for millions of years with her being one of the first shinigami to appear. Over some time, (Y/n) met with Ryuk as she reprimanded him for calling their shinigami ruler an "old man". Ever since then, they have met more frequently, and have gotten to know each other more. Soon, they became good friends. One day, (Y/n) went to met him, only to hear the disturbing news that he went to the human realm, and even purposely dropped his death note there, too! Though it's not his death note, the results can still be catastrophic. Deciding to go down to the human realm to make sure that Ryuk does nothing stupid seems to hold more head-achs than she first bargained for, especially when the shinigami king decided to put her there to make sure that the person using the death note does not go too far. After the killing of her parents by Kira, Miko is forced to live with her aunt, uncle, and cousins. One of these cousins is Light Yagami. During her stay, she finds herself helping in the investigation and getting close with a monotoned, Kira-catcher.

This is a small fan fiction I have begun writing. It is based on the Death Note anime series and may contain parts of the original story mashed up with my own points. This will be a little more darker than the original anime and story of Death Note, seeing I will delve totally into Light's subconscious thoughts and portrait how I believe he went mad. If you have not seen fully through the Death Note series then it's okay, seeing I will not put any spoilers into this.
