Misa and Light get into a fight about how much time she's been spending with L. She runs out of his apartment and starts to cry, L finds her, and she brings him home to eat because he's hungry. They eventually confess and Misa realizes she doesn't love Light, she loves L.

Rem couldn't stop Misa's tears. But she could stop the one causing them. Even if the price was her own.
