Alfred is a misanthrope and independent video game developer who dreams of isolating himself from the rest of world. In order to do this , he invents a machine that would allow him to teleport himself into the game Real Life Simulator 3D, a game that he created by himself. But, during the process of teleportation, a lighting bolt stikes the electric pylon that supplies the house of Alfred with electricity, causing an error in the script of the machine. When Alfred wakes up, he find out that he was teleported in the wrong game, not in the peaceful life simulator, but in his recently created game : The Clan War, a very difficult and dangerous strategy game. Will Alfred manage to survive in this game and to come back in his world?

Slightly pessimistic and nihilistic but how can anyone live in this fucking hellhole and not be?

En route to a diplomatic mission to the human capital of Inverell with his mother, QUEEN MIRA, Olivier is attacked by a mysterious entity. After passing out, he wakes to find himself in the slums of Inverell, with no sign of Mira and no memory of how he got there. He is found by LEO, a human boy from the streets who has no great love of Elysians and their oppressive rule. Leo, however, is very interested in obtaining the Flute of Lazarus, an ancient Elysian artefact whose bounty has been posted on the black market for an enormous amount of gold - and Olivier's royal lineage presents the perfect opportunity to get it. With no other way to get home, Olivier reluctantly teams up with Leo to steal this priceless family heirloom from the resting place of LAPIS LAZULI in Crim Tartarus, the Realm of the Dead - and while he's there, maybe even ask the old ghost some advice on how to fix his magical deficiency and potentially save the empire...

Unreality is a mysterious phenomenon that appears to take place when mentally unstable individuals project the contents of their subconscious onto reality, distorting the very fabric of space and transforming the surrounding environment into a perilous mindscape which reflects their innermost thoughts and feelings. An organization was created to deal with such incidents, and Virgil is one of its agents. He keeps a carefully cultivated solitary lifestyle, but his self-inflicted isolation is challenged when he meets Ariadne, a girl coping with sorrow and grief after the loss of her twin brother. The two begin to form a bond, but as Virgil comes across more and more cases of unreality, his own psyche starts to unravel, forcing him to confront his own mental scars and deep-seated feelings of alienation.

Syd is living on the edge of his broken psyche when he comes across the person he had been waiting his entire life to meet. As things flourish, the rude awakening of the edict "nothing gold can stay" changes the tune of Syd's life as he finds out a truth that is completely devastating. And in the world of mental illness, this is a particularly harsh reality where Syd has to make a difficult decision on what he has to give up in his life. But even a broken drum has to keep beating. The entire story has been published from Chapter 1 to the Epilogue. It is broken into three parts, each quite distinct from the others as Syd's life is altered dramatically. This thing is a labor of love. After completing the story, I realized how much it meant to me personally. I learned things about myself I did not know until I wrote it. I feel as if from writing "Sound of a Broken Drum", my life has changed. In the way I perceive it and in the way I perceive the world around me. This story is not for everyone. There are a lot of people I know who would never want to read something like this. It's not for the apathetic, the privileged, the ones who coast and indulge in the bullshit. I know a lot of people like that. Maybe I wrote it as a means to get away from them. There are certainly people I feel who would read something like this. The mentally-pained, the loners, introverts, the lonely, those who struggle through the everyday things many people take for granted. Those who know too much. And feel too much. I know what that is like. And I know this is why I wrote it. Because we can share each other's experiences through words, no one has to ever feel like they are alone, regardless of how distant the world is. And regardless of how much trash and clutter from society there is in the way of your field of vision, always know there are those few you will find who will make the struggle well-worth it.
