Alexander Hamilton has always been a smart kid, but when his mother dies after his father leaves them, he's distraught and aimless, turning to a life of crime just to keep his education and brother alive. Tragedy strikes and he loses everything in a hurricane, his brother, his house and his entire wellbeing. The Island elects to give him a better life, raising money to send him too America with his cousin and enrolling him in a prestigious private school. His journey to his full potential is turbulent, but can he get through it in one peice, all the while learning that he has no control over who lives, who dies, and who ultimately tells your story..

*Completed History professor, John Laurens is teaching his first year since being transfered from South Carolina. "King's College" is where he works now, much different than the small town he used to live in. He takes a liking to quite a few of the locals, finding it isn't as hard as he thought to make friends, and maybe even something more that that. Alexander Hamilton comes from a smaller town in Jersey. He's used to the big city, but finds living on his own for the first time is proving easier said than done. Keeping up on school has never really been a problem for him, but distractions such as a complicated relation with a professor and a life that just can't seem to give him a break makes it a little harder than he had initially intended.

Alexander has an 'emergency key' to Thomas's place. Though, this isn't exactly what Thomas would've considered an emergency. This takes place after the Reynolds pamphlet, and it's a modern AU Because who needs a plot that makes sense, right? It's a fanfiction.

Unrequited Love is the feeling and state of being hopelessly in love with someone, but the feelings are not reciprocated. Unrequited hate is the feeling and state of loathing someone, but the other person does not return these emotions. -------------- A series of events leads Thomas Jefferson to the realization that he doesn't hate Alexander Hamilton, who has been his rival since freshman year of high school. But what happens when Alexander still despises him and goes out of his way to show it?

It's basically the plot of Hamilton and same characters too. It's just written as if their in the modern world. If this doesn't get updated in less than 6 months, I gave up on it <3
