Mono Stories

Mono is doomed to a time loop after being betrayed by Six, and everyone thought that was where his story ends. But after encountering his younger self, Mono realizes that he's not quite ready to give up and is determined to find the Six that betrayed him from his timeline. Intent on revenge, he travels the Maw where he meets another boy named Seven, who was eaten by Six. Both are ready to confront the one who hurt them, but what if that ends up being harder than they expected? And not only that, but what if the Raincoat Girl survived the fall back at the Nest, and what if she and Six found each other again? A story based on revenge ends up being an adventure full of hard decisions, new friends, and uncaging the truth about what happened to their world. Mono never thought he'd work together with Six again, but will a new threat, the "Happy Man", change his mind and force the four characters to team up? Or will grudges and past traumas turn their lives into a nightmare? Characters are all 14 except for Six who is 13. They act more mature than regular kids cuz they've been through hell so, but they still have normal childish tendencies. Also uploaded on AO3 under the name AverageArchiver1.

So this book is a sort of spin-off to the other one I've made: Little Nightmares II: Three's A Crowd. That means that there'll be spoilers for that book in this one so please read the other one first, or at least up to Chapter 26 before reading this one. To avoid spoiling others I'll make a little information chapter to start off with so that you know what this'll be about and what to expect. That way you won't need to sit through a chapter of this to know what kind of stuff there'll be. (I do not own Any if the Little Nightmares franchise, this includes Little Nightmares 1 and 2, and Very Little Nightmares, or the comics.) (I do not own any of the art, music, or videos used in this book unless it is stated otherwise.) Mono, thrown into seemingly-peaceful rooms, wants to find his way back to Six and escape with her. Six, lost in the darkest depths of the ship, wishes to escape by herself; seeing all others as a threat. It's not simply a fight against the outside world anymore. Without each other to lean on, with danger brewing, with darkness found inside and out...the two may not make it out alive. One thing is certain.
