She's told that she was genetically modified in the lab to be some "Moonlark," a secret weapon against an evil organization called the Neverseen. For two years, she's trained in solitude without interaction with people outside the Black Swan. Then one day, when she travels too far and is kidnapped by the Neverseen, a boy named Keefe who wants nothing to do with the organization helps her escape, despite his mom being the Neverseen's leader. But none of them were coherent. All she could do was struggle. She felt the fumes sink into her brain. Turning everything sluggish. With the last of her strength, she tried to transmit a plea for help. But she knew it was hopeless, all she could manage was a whisper of a help. This story idea was inspired by @kae_was_here's story Dex Returns Alone. Lastly, please point out any plot inaccuracies - I have the books on hold so I can make it accurate to the stories. However one change I am making is aging up Sophie a bit so that she is easier for me to write (14) Lastly I will have at least weekly updates. The Neverseen has fallen. The Lost Cities are rejoicing, finally being able to taste freedom. Sophie Foster was at a loss. It was hard to remember that victory was on their side when she had to witness the damage the Neverseen has caused. She was in desperate need of finding out how to let go of who she was before, and start to be who she wants to be. Keefe Sencen was struggling. He wasn't sure of what to make of his thoughts, and was scared of their implications. He kept wishing for a way to turn back time; to see if he could've done things a different way. But sometimes, all he needs may be a solid reminder that he wouldn't be where he was if it wasn't for his decision at every crossroads. When the only way to seek solace was from each other, how far would they go to regain all that is lost? A one-shot, split into parts, about Sophie and Keefe's first date. In order to leave, Sophie must figure out who to trust and who to be wary of so she can go back to the Lost Cities. But they all must remember, there are imposters Among Us.
