College and working were the only two things on your mind. You had nothing else to worry about except getting your degree and keeping bills paid. Until you meet Dinah. You knew from the moment you met her that if it ever got serious you would have to take on the problems in her life. But after getting to know her, you were willing to help carry some of her baggage. As things escalate both with your relationship and with her life, it seems like what started as a great thing might be a little more complicated. And the complications only continue as you start to meet her family and vice versa. With all these problems that come with dating her, would it be too much for you to handle in the end or will you always stay running with her? WARNING ⚠️: This story DOES contain some violence associated with murder. NONE of it is physical or mental domestic violence, but there are a few chapters that involve argument scenes that get really intense and others that mention religion (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, i.e. Mormon). I did my research and stuck to what I found as best I could to portray the religions beliefs as best as I could. But due to the topics brought up, it could make some uncomfortable. Especially if this is your religion. There are also mentions of mental illness. This story also contains talks about drugs (marijuana), the selling of said drugs, as well as the smoking/ingestion of it. If you have a problem with any of the things mentioned above, please do not read this book. This is the first warning. The second, and last, warning will be at the very beginning of the Introduction chapter and that's it.

Antoinette feels as though she goes back in time when she visits Eumoiriety Island, for her grandfathers funeral. From the moment she stepped off the boat she knew this place was unlike any other. Hoopskirts, and horse drawn carriages. Eumoiriety Island was a place of peace, happiness, Innocence, and purity. A place founded for people to live as they pleased, despite the governments around the world. So how does an American girl feel? Coming from the land of the free, to realize she was never free at all?
