Loyalties will be tested, unlikely bonds will be made, and relationships will be pushed to the limit as the Shadowhunters and their Downworlder friends make their own way in a new world. 2B: Shadowhunters returns for the second half of Season 2 with Shadowhunters and Downworlders reeling from what happened at the New York Institute in the winter finale. As the rift between the two sides grows larger, the team and their Downworld friends and lovers are put in the middle of the dangerous divide. Torn between the Clave's rules and what they feel is right, Clary, Jace, Alex and Isabelle struggle to help forge a new beginning. Relationships will be tested, a new Shadowhunter named Sebastian will join the fray and the Seelie Queen will step out of the shadows in the summer season.

Three months after the Dark War, things were finally getting back to normal for Clary and her Shadowhunter friends. Clary was continuing her shadowhunter training, hanging out with Jace whenever she could, and even re-enrolled to go back to high school! Things were going perfect, until one day things weren't so perfect causing Clary to leave her friends and New York City behind. Four years later a new threat was emerging posing a danger to all those in the shadow world, and when a call for help comes from the one place Clary thought she'd never be able to return to, nothing could stop her from coming out of hiding.
