Hannah and Ryan once believed love meant being everything to each other. But somewhere between unanswered calls, quiet dinners, and promises that became too heavy to carry, their relationship began to change. Ryan has spent years trying to protect Hannah from every fear, every mistake, and every moment of pain. Hannah has spent just as long pretending she is fine so he will stop trying to save her. They still love each other, but love has become tangled with guilt, dependence, and the fear of who they might be apart. When one broken promise brings everything they have avoided to the surface, they are forced to confront the question neither of them is ready to answer: What if losing the person you love does not make you nothing? A bittersweet story about love, identity, letting go, and learning that sometimes two people must fall apart before they can become whole.

Kailan mo nalaman na kaya mo palang mabuhay para sa lahat, maliban sa sarili mo? Ysabelle Serene Herera never had the luxury of falling apart. She simply left. Quietly, without looking back, because sometimes the smartest thing you can do is stop waiting for things to get worse. The life she chose was never kind to her but she stayed anyway. She worked, she survived, and slowly she learned how to breathe again. She built a life that was finally, completely hers. Okay na siya and this time, she actually meant it. Then he came along. Cassian Drevian De Leoncourt. And Ysa, who had spent her whole life paying bills, swallowing pain, and holding everyone else together, finally met someone who looked at her like she was the one who needed to be held. She had spent so long searching for a place that felt like peace. But what if he was either her serenity, or the most beautiful chaos she would ever survive?

Lingling always chose the back row. It was quiet there. Safe. Predictable. A place where no one could sit behind her, no one could watch her too closely, and no one could easily enter her life unless she allowed them to. Then Orm started sitting beside her. At first, Orm only came to Ling because of Den - the girl Orm could not stop looking at. Ling was just the convenient one. The quiet one. The useful one who knew people, fixed things, explained notes, and made everything easier. But somewhere between borrowed highlighters, rainy nights, quiet songs, family dinners, and a shirt left behind for "next time," Lingling started making space for Orm. A chair beside her. A place at her table. A place inside her home. A place inside her heart. The problem was, Orm was soft when they were alone... but different when Den was around. And Lingling slowly learned that being needed is not the same as being chosen. The Chair Beside Me is a university GL coming-of-age story about almost-love, quiet heartbreak, friendship, self-respect, and the painful truth that not everyone who made you feel special deserves a permanent place beside you. Because sometimes, the worst thing is not an empty chair. It is saving it for someone who only sits there when it is convenient. Genre: GL / University AU / Angst / Coming-of-Age / Slow Burn Themes: Almost-love, friendship, unrequited feelings, emotional healing, self-worth Content note: Emotional manipulation, public humiliation, heartbreak, non-endgame romance.

How do I go back to loving the way I did when I was twelve? Back when every possibility felt endless. Back when courage was always naturally there. Back when our hearts didn't know how to be afraid. Almost Never follows Karlee as she looks back on the quiet years of growing up in the Philippines during the mid-2010s, where friendship slowly blurred into first love, misunderstandings, and people that we share our most cherished memories with. Through school hallways, late-night conversations, handwritten letters, and rainy afternoons, Karlee discovers that not every love story is meant to become forever. Because perhaps first love was never meant to last forever. Perhaps it was simply meant to teach us how to love.

Sometimes, the deepest love is the one that never had a name. Zei and Rafi met through a screen, separated by distance but connected through countless late-night conversations. Every day, they shared their dreams, fears, and the words, "I miss you." Yet, neither of them ever found the courage to ask the question that could change everything: "What are we?" In a relationship without a label, love became both their comfort and their greatest confusion. They acted like they were together, but they were never officially in a relationship. Until one day, Rafi slowly disappeared, leaving Zei with nothing but unanswered questions, broken promises, and memories she couldn't forget. When Rafi suddenly disappeared without saying goodbye, Zei realized that the hardest goodbyes come from relationships that were never defined. UNDEFINED is a story about an unlabeled relationship, long-distance love, ghosting, heartbreak, and the painful journey of finding peace after losing someone who was never truly yours.

I wish I had understood things earlier, valued those moments more, and never let the distance grow between us. Some people turn into memories, but their place in our hearts never fades. That's my biggest regret. I hope you all feel the emotions behind this story and enjoy it." πŸ’”βœ¨

What if you could sit beside the person you used to be? Between 2015 and 2018, I wrote pieces filled with questions, fears, hopes, and dreams. At the time, they were simply random thoughts-words I couldn't always say out loud. Years later, I found myself reading those same pages with different eyes. This book is more than a revised collection. It is a conversation between my younger self and the person I am today. Each chapter includes: ✍️ The revised piece 🌱 The story behind it 🌿 My reflections after reading it years later πŸ’Œ A letter to my younger self β˜• A question for every reader Perhaps you'll see a younger version of yourself somewhere between these pages. Because sometimes, the words we wrote years ago become the ones we need to read today. β€’ β€’ β€’ πŸ“œ Author's Note These writings were originally published on my Wattpad account under Random Thoughts. I have preserved their emotions while refining the language and reflecting on them through the eyes of the person I have become. This isn't just a collection of old writings. It's a reminder that growth doesn't erase our past-it helps us understand it. Welcome to my journey. Maybe, by the end of this book, you'll feel inspired to write a letter to your younger self too. - @AnnieArta
