In the Spring of 1995, A murder in Southern California grabs the attention of Agent Mulder. A victim with a unusual birthmark is linked to other victims from the 1960's & 70's. But what's more unusual is Mulder believes the murderer has the same birthmark. What links the victim and the murderer to a horrible crime committed during the Civil War?
