This is set in the 1950's and both Alastor and Vincent are in their late 30's. Both are single but are hoping for a partner. In this AU Vincent is gay and has autism. Alastor is bisexual and mixed race( like in canon) Vincent is an up and coming weather man who lives in a rundown studio apartment where as Alastor has been in the radio business for quite a few years and has more fame than Vincent whether it's for the better or for the worse. Al lives in a small-ish suburban house. They first meet eachother while chasing after a victim and they come around to eachother (eventually) this fanfic explores themes of racism, homophobia and ableism. the recommended audience is 13 and over. there will be nothing NSFW in this text. Posting about this( with credit ) is appreciated e.g pictures, comments, theorising and more. I'm also very curious of your thoughts.

This is a high-school AU of murdermedia! It's basically a slowburn of their dynamic slowly building up into becoming lovers. They have to keep their relationship under wraps because of their reputations within the school. Nobody would suspect the two together as they don't get along in public. That is until a rumor starts to go around and one of their lives get ruined. Who will fall, and can it be fixed? Alright, quick disclaimer, this is my first work on here in two years, so it mayyyy be dodgy but i'll do my best. It's 1930 in New Orleans deep in a woods, Vincent Whitman and Alastor Hartfelt are partners in crime (literally...) and often commit murders together to people who have hurt them or others. Alastor is about to be killed by hunters in the woods as he's mistaken for a deer but last second Vincent saves him... or does he? I dunno, find out in the story!

3 years into marriage, and Vincent and Alastor decide to adopt a baby girl, Charlotte. Their life follows a set routine of being parents together until an unexpected hurdle forces Vincent to disappear and eventually pass away. Charlotte, now 13, has to face the consequences of Vincent's demons alongside her single father, Alastor. But things aren't exactly what they seem, and moments lead to the disillusioned state of both characters in unexpected ways.
