17-year old African american muslim girl Ayesha Abdul has lived a life full of hell: constant discrimination because of her religion, her sister being deported and her brother suffering with his grades. She feels the brunt of the heat when another student at her school frames her for cheating on the ACT. But one boy knows Ayesha is innocent; Christian, hot, popular boy Daniel Lester. When a romance , ensues, Ayesha must choose between her family or the boy she so desperately loves.
