This is a story of a brave woman who, ever since she was a child, she had seen and lived unbelievable things in her life. As she grew up, life, - harsh as it coud be-, had turned her into a hero. All the agony she has faced, yet she smiles as bright as the sun. This story should portray the power of women and give hope and strength to those especially living in the Arab World. I have written this story based on the experience I've had in the Gulf and my life there.

This is my first time writting a story, not to mention 'my story'. I sincerely hope I'm able to deliver my emotions into this. "I love you, u know that right?" I nodded. I knew. Had he asked me a few years back I wouldn't have been able to reply. Someone once told me "My dear, love is when you want to protect someone no matter the cost. Even if it means giving up on your life. Sometimes, u love someone without even expecting anything in return. It might be painful, but it is fulfilling" Bullshit!

When someone says they admire another, they are expressing their great admiration for the other person. Soldiers are praised for their dedication to their motherland, whereas professional athletes are appreciated for their talent and work ethics. The book that tells the tragic, beautiful and magical story of a young boy and his mother. This book was made because my mother is an incredible, strong and independent woman and I believe every mother is strong. "Yesterday is history, Tomorrows a mystery, Today is the gift. That's why it's called the present." Enjoy my gift to all the mothers, and all those who are strong through tough times like these. ___ Yours truly, Serenity.
