Every adolescent has a crazy story to tell. Hina is no exception. At sixteen, her life is far from perfect. High school can be really demanding and being labelled a 'misfit' can be cruel. Amidst all the chaos, it's easy to feel like you're always the target of vandalism, especially when you don't have the 'it' factors that take to be the conventional 'cool' teenager. Hina has one desire - to remove the misfit tag from her name. It is an easily justifiable desire. Anybody would want to be devoid of such a tag. But on her way to get rid of the tag she might just discover that maybe being a 'misfit' isn't such a bad thing after all and perhaps her life is actually quite great. Throw in a share of Indian drama to the self seeking quest - family, friendship, love and all the other little things in between. Estrella Dawnsong has always felt that there is something special about her, but when she discovers her true place in society, she realizes that being a princess is a lot harder than she ever imagined. As the heir to the throne of Dawn, she has a lot more on her plate then the average royal personage. The constant threat of destruction hangs over her people, and the steward on the throne is definitely not willing to give his power up. With her supposed to be friend trying to kill her, and the royal court filled with uncertain allegiances, will Estrella be able to identify her friends in time to save her kingdom? Or will Dawn become nothing more than yet another province of an empire bent on revenge?

After a malicious dictator finally managed to take her city, the city of Orsinon, seven years ago, she was left alone in a changing world. She became a chameleon doing as much as she could to stay hidden, even giving parts of herself away. When she is finally caught by the man who caused all her problems, questions are raised that turn her world upside down. Annora finds herself with the Redeemers, a group of vigilante teenagers in super suits, and the key to what happened to her, her family, and her city all those years ago. Will and Ash are best friends, except they aren't exactly "friends." Will is a typical angsty teenager who hates anything that moves. Ash is a bubbly, nerdy boy whose favorite color is the rainbow and his favorite animal is a puppy. They're the most unlikely match, but Will is strangely protective of the other, smaller boy. Then secrets unearth that Will never saw coming, and he has no idea what to make of his best friend who somehow keeps smiling.

'Around a month ago," I answered honestly, forcing myself to remain staring at the wall ahead of me as I revealed this. I searched for some fragment of hope or a sign, though I knew that there was none. Their intense stares sent chills throughout my body.' --------- Alexandra Leighwood belongs to a society with a slogan that says it all- "No decisions equals no power, no fighting, no problem." With a fair amount of brainwashing and an ever-present fear of the consequences that come from rebelling, most people bow down to the system, allowing themselves to be utterly controlled and manipulated. But 17-year-old Alexandra, or Alex, is just plain different. Her strong will and determination is exactly what the Administrators DON'T want. Seen as qualities posing a dire threat to society, Alex is in great danger. Will her refusal to give in be her greatest strength, or her greatest weakness? ---------- TRIGGER WARNING: There is a scene where, in the main character's dream, a character is cutting her wrist. Also there are a couple violent scenes (but they're not gory and not that bad). In addition, Alex is required to undress and shower in front of others. But that's about it!

I'm not too sure as to what this is, but I often get bored and lost in my thoughts, so why not write them out? As I wrote I created poetic sentences, lines and phrases. So, I hope they can be enjoyed despite their mainly heavy topics. This book covers poems from 2017 to 2019.

"I turned to face the stranger once again and took in parts of his features I could make out in the dark. A lock of curly hair hung over the front of his face and his sharp jaw was clenched as he stared straight at me, the faint smell of cigarette smoke and expensive cologne hitting my nostrils. His deep voice and the English accent struck a resonant chord with me but in the heat of the moment I couldn't make out where I had heard it before. Just as the sight of police and ambulance sirens flooded my vision, I turned to take one last glance at the car before it went up in flames, as I collapsed into the stranger's arms." Musings of someone who has nothing but her thoughts to keep her company. What do you make of them? Each part or "chapter" are stand alone thoughts and have no connection to any of the ones before and after them. So go through the list of contents and pick out whatever title you'd like to read.
