Although Nan and Nix aren't as much apart of the fairy tales as Mina and Jared are, they still come into play. At a twisted turn of events, something starts to happen to Nan. As her new found boyfriend, Nix tries to come to the rescue. Will he be too late? This is a fan fiction from the wonderful Unfortunate Fairy Tales Series by Chanda Hahn. It takes place after Fable. The details of what happened in between the end of Fable and this story will be explained during the story. Warning: You may not understand everything if you haven't read the series.

❝Once A Marine Always A Marine❞ Jared Hastings has trained long, hard years to get to the position he is in now. He could proudly call himself a marine of the United States of America. The happiest person alive. Or maybe not. It was during graduation day, that he came across a girl who stood opposite him, full of a pride and confidence that he could only admire from where he stood. From then he knew two things: she was tons more determined than him and that he needed to meet her (which may or may not have something to do with the secret list he made, about the woman of his dreams). However when the time came, it wasn't exactly as special as he expected it to be... WARNING: Contains some strong language
