Book 8 and the final book of the Mengcheng Dreaming series, and my Nanowrimo 2021 work. A few years after the events in Rock Dog: The Songs We Sing, things were looking up: Rock Dog was still going very strong, Johnny and Ash found their relationship getting stronger and Swifty and Jade have given birth to a new son. When there is a new Asia-Pacific singing competition, this provided Rock Dog with an opportunity to prove why they are still one of the best bands in their country. However, with their lives transitioning to adulthood and new troubles brewing within and outside of the band, will Bodi and his friends get through all of this and win the Asia Song Festival 2025? Rated PG13 for some violence, mature language and alcohol references, with some chapters being rated NC16 for graphic violence. Rock Dog, Arctic Dogs and Sing, as well as the songs featured in the work, are properties of their respective owners and I do not own anything else other than OCs.

Setting: A foggy countryside manor in 1930s England A murdered patriarch. A locked room. A crumbling legacy of secrets. When the powerful Lord Ravencourt is found dead inside his study...with the doors locked from the inside and a chess piece left in his hand...every heir becomes a suspect. Called out of retirement, famed detective Alaric Finch arrives at the windswept estate of Raven's Hollow to solve the impossible murder. But this house doesn't just hold secrets. It feeds on them. As the storm traps them inside, Finch uncovers something darker than murder: falsified bloodlines, a forgotten child, and a killer who's always one move ahead. One by one, the pieces fall. And with each revelation, the price of truth grows steeper. The murder dismantled a family. The truth might dismantle reality. For fans of Knives Out, The Haunting of Hill House, and Agatha Christie with bite. You won't sleep until the last piece is played. * This could have been a movie series if I had believed in it and submitted when my teacher, Sir Ronald, told me to. He saw something in it before I ever did. RIP, Sir Ronald. Thank you for believing in me before I knew how to believe in myself.

Maybe it's the Haddock blood that runs through her veins or the fact that her grandmother has told her stories of her ancestral Viking history every night since she could remember but she believes in dragons, as much as it is the Bain of her mother's existence, Nott knows the dragons are out there and the world is finally ready for them. So Nott Fury Haddock will finally embark on her journey to find the hidden world and reintroduce dragons to modern life. No one in her family has been able to accomplish it yet but Nott has covered all of their notes, she's corrected all of their mistakes the only thing she doesn't consider is another descendant of Hiccup and Astrid to find her and offer his help. Nott with her distant cousin embark to overturn the stones of their past and release the dragons to the freedom they deserve. -Sneak Peak- "How do you do that?" I ask "What?" Hagen asks. I throw my hand out at him. He chuckles "you just gestured to all of me." "Exactly, all of you, you can't just go around being this amazing human being. Like what can't you do?" I demand only half joking, I've never seen anyone so skilled at everything before. He smirks and pats the seat beside him as his fire blazes up. "Nott, I can do whatever people can't stop me from doing." He turns and looks at me "and so can you." "Yeah?" I wanted to agree with him but it came out more like a question. "Yep." He rolled his sleeping bag out and laid down beside the fire. "Better get some sleep, Nott." He says "we've got a big day ahead of us." "Night." I curl up in my own sleeping bag and try to close my eyes but I can't help but think about everything. I'm miles from home, stole my mom's plane, but I'm following exactly what my grandma wanted and if we really do find the hidden world, I can fly just like Hiccup and Astrid did. I can bring dragons back into the world, after all it's just as much their's as it is ours. **Cover art is not mine**

Set in Seattle, Washington, Lacey Evans just turned fifteen. Her life alone is a wreck of peace. Nothing seems to happen besides an occasional fight to break out between humans who have been dominated by light or darkness to where it has become a part of them and their abilities. Even those have gotten tiring and normal. Lacey recently recovered from a severe stab to her chest which sent her six years of hospitalization including mental recovery. She now has time to herself, too much time. Her family was rich, so being a writer, her low income doesn't matter to her survival and pleasure in the world. Constantly her mind travels back to the past. Having memories of a group that her parents led during the years they were still living. She is more important than she lets herself believe, and her choices can destroy the world. --------------------------- This book is my project for NaNoWriMo, so if all goes right I should have this finished by the end of November! I hope you all enjoy it. Comments are welcome. Written By: E

The old hag grinned. It was an unpleasant sort of grin. A yellow-toothed, wizened, knowing sort of grin. It was the type of grin that, normally, made any travellers to cross her path cross on the other side of the path. Unfortunately, the two travellers today did not have such an option. They were tired, and it was dark, and they had already stopped for the night. They didn't know the old hag meant them no harm. They didn't know she only wanted to tell them a story. The old hag glanced at one of the several watches on her bony, wrinkled wrist... and sighed. "I'll have to cancel my next appointment." She looked at the still-frozen pair, the flickering firelight illuminating her beady black eyes. "There's a knight who cheated his quest, see," she said, in a rather normal voice. One of her companions started. In surprise? Fear? Who knew. "Ah well, it can't be avoided, I suppose." She sat, slowly, on the nearest log which had been pulled up to the fire. The hood of her black cloak fell to her shoulders, revealing patches of limp, grey hair and a sunken-in face. One of the campers shifted uncomfortably. "Oh really, do sit. We have a long night ahead of us." "You-you're-you're a..." one of the campers stuttered. The hag looked at him, waiting. She knew what was coming. Then again, she always knew what was coming. It was just that some version of this moment happened every time, and she'd come to expect it. "You're a hag!" "I am not," she corrected sharply, "a hag. I am a seer. Now sit. You're being rude, and I'm already running late." She shook her arm, and her several watches all rattled and clanked. The campers sat, as one did when lectured about manners by an all-powerful seer. The seer nodded, satisfied, then she spoke. Her voice was different this time. Raspier. Drier, like sand on a cliffside. "Princess Ariabelle Tatiana," she began, for her confused but attentive audience, "was no ordinary princess..."
