I created this space so we can stay close. I intend to keep you informed about chapter releases, small delays, upcoming stories, and everything unfolding quietly behind the scenes. It's where I'll speak to you directly so you never have to wonder or miss anything. I also owe you honesty. Sometimes my updates take longer than planned. As I do work on my own, and scheduling hasn't always been easy. I encountered many unforeseen circumstances, which required me to adapt, be very patient, and undertake a significant reorganization. I sincerely apologize for any delays and frustrations this may have caused. You never deserve to feel forgotten. What I can promise is this: every delay is never a lack of care. It means she always has to remain connected to her insulin pump and she panics when she can't feel it at her hip. It means that she is covered in little scars from the multiple daily injections she has needed since age four. It means her pancreas failed, and since it did, she has suffered from and incurable disease that is constantly ridiculed. Despite being a legally disabled teenager, she is an advanced dancer at a small studio, honors student, bibliophile, speechie, and poet, as well as a member of student council and regular volunteer at the local animal shelter. A busy, intelligent, beautiful girl fighting a daily uphill battle, with the help of an old friend. Landyn is in the same boat. After becoming diagnosed, he has stuck to playing hockey and kept a high GPA, with Audralynne's tutoring. Even with the bulky infusion set, CGM, and pump, he remains eye-candy for the majority of the female sophomore population at Copperwood High School. Two teenage diabetics, both struggling to deal with the chronic illness, its complications, and everyday adolescent life. An alien explorer meets disaster on ancient Earth, and must invade the body of a primitive human to survive, creating great difficulties for the alien, the human, and the human community, as an impending ice age threatens survival for everyone. This story is a prequel to the short story, "The Jumper." This was my National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) novel for 2014. Her entire family is on a countdown to a major milestone for her. Her minder, Aunty Nneka, is more available than her self-employed mother and together with Eloka, her best friend, they find new things to do on the internet. They find shocking truths about her father that could rip the fabric of their lives. But with a transplant coming up, Teniola may have just days in the calendar to set things right. It's her countdown to survival!

An attempt at NANOWRIMO that I failed. I still like my story so far, but I haven't finished it yet... A young nomad must serve as a spy for the king as a punishment for stealing. She becomes close with the royal family, and when one is murdered, she will stop at nothing to avenge his death. Little does Pearl know, nothing is as it seems

My 2008 NANOWRIMO project: The Gray is a 'low' fantasy novel in spite of dragons and magic and horror. Giant spells won't be saving the day, and there's no mighty magic swords, in fact most spells aren't even out there in your face, they're implied. The Gray is set in a lone human city in a world where being human is stranger and and less common than being an elf, or almost anything else. Their community is Isolated, and protected by a a group of trained fighters and scouts with specific roles, who give up their own names when they take on The Gray. Walker, one of the scouts of The Gray, accidentally stumbles across signs that their way of life, and maybe even the world, may be threatened, and is quickly forced to face the fact that trying to save his home and people may require loosing them forever.
