Ranu adalah seorang pemuda yang menderita hidrophobia semenjak kematian ibunya ketika ia balita. Namun sekarang ia harus menghadapi ketakutan terbesarnya saat ia diharuskan pergi ke Desa Tepia'i di pedalaman Kalimantan Barat, untuk meneliti kadar merkuri yang dihasilkan para penambang emas liar. Namun bukan hanya air saja yang harus Ranu hadapi. Ia pun harus berhadapan dengan cerita mistis Hantu Air yang mendiangi Sungai Kapuas dan mitos menyeramkan lainnya di dalam hutan belantara. Bagaimanakah nasib Ranu pada akhirnya?

Flying beneath the lift bag of the Ravens' Child, accompanying the band of misfits and rogues that crew her, Clarissa begins to learn that the most profound mystery of her voyage is the one she takes with her. My NaNoWriMo 2019 project, an odd skypunk tale and something a little different from anything I've ever come across, like any good worldbuilding tale should be. Lyall Rowan Shields, a victim of a top secret governmental human experimentation lived in Rise, South Carolina with her homeschooled Christian family of 9. She was an adventurous girl and often was found walking outside and being cheerful. Unbeknownst to her, though she had many government officials watching her. On her 16th birthday, she was kidnapped and taken to the laboratory of one named Dr. Switzer. When Lyall was experimented on, she was rescued from the fate of losing her humanity. And though the chemicals still had an effect on her, she could control it for the most part. But she needed to go to a secret psych ward for a few years to be safe. 4 years later, and Lyall has been released from there. Her faith was crippled and she blamed God and herself for being victimized but one day, with the guidance of her friends and a life-changing event, she learned to give thanks for and to use her scars and powers for the greater good. This is the origin story of the superhero known as Gryphon Wing.

While rescuing her from bounty hunters, Cypur loses control of his magick, killing a male on accident. Now, police are after him, but he's innocent! Cypur makes a deal with Wescherlie. He will help her find her lost family, and she will help him find proof for innocence. But the journey is filled with dangerous, greedy Sorcerers who want Cypur's magick or who want to turn Wescherlie into taxidermy. There are a few things he knows nothing about: what it's like to be gay in 1986, what it's like to be gay in Wenatchee, Washington, or in fact what it's like to be gay at all. Because Jesse is not gay and he has never wanted to kiss boys and he has never wished he lived in a different world. But then along comes Biff Dennis--the new kid, who threatens to force Jesse to confront everything he pretends isn't there. The truth looks him in the eyes in the form of Biff Dennis, and the truth just so happens to be very, very dangerous.

Khadijah hates not knowing things and uncertainty as much as she hates white chocolate. And her mother knows that more than anyone in the world. Nobody knew the reason why her mother fled home one day, leaving Khadijah with a list of misfits of strangers she must ask questions to in order to find her. It was nonsense to her. But she knew there was no other way to find her mother other than going through the list; a mechanic, a foreigner working at an oil station, a goreng pisang makcik and many more. Comes in Najwa, a girl in her class in kindergarten who she long lost contact with. Khadijah discovered Najwa's pretzel-like twistedness of a life, abhorring and being scared of almost everything in the world and decided to let her tag along in her quest to find her mother. Khadijah hated the uncertainty of it all with a passion; where was her mother? Why was Najwa everywhere and why does it feel like she could not do it without Najwa?

Living in the heart of a city with a mediocre job at the local grocery store, this goal shouldn't be considered far from achieving. Except for the fact that Finley can't spend his hours in the daylight like the humans can. The city of Sekotsdale wasn't unfamiliar with their nightly inhabitants. Vampiric activity was a rising concern among the people that feared to leave their houses after sunset. Finley, however, never meant them any harm. He would gladly spend his nights working or be at the bar with friends rather than ravage the lives of the living like fellow vampires would. When Finley switches companies after a discrepancy regarding him working overnight, however, his attempt at a normal-appearing life changes. With his new store manager being a retired vampire hunter, Finley is faced with the conflict he's always aimed to avoid - either expose his true nature to those he's grown close to, or figure out a way to delude this persistent hunter from pushing him over that edge.

A fantasy/sci-fi/romance set in space! The story starts with one of the main characters, Isla, twin brother dying and although people are telling her it's an accident she doesn't believe them. Once the main characters' turn 23 years old they go through three trails and if they pass they can go on their own Space Pod so Isla and her friends all go initially to find out what happened to her twin brother. It is an adventure that Isla and the other characters would never have dreamed of. The adventure of the lifetime.

All is peaceful and right, until she witnesses something that places a target on her back. Father Asher Montgomery is a priest who has wandered off the path. Despite the ample missionary work and efforts to help New York's starving and homeless, his faith is wavering. Things only get more complicated when a young woman shows up at his church with an odd story to tell. Mortimer is a Civil War soldier. He knows things he isn't supposed to know, and he's about 95% sure he's the only one who knows them. Moreover?
