Marrok's story is that of a knight who returns home after battling in a bloody crusade for his king. Although expected by his father, the Lord of White Haven, to find a wife in readiness to to provide an heir, marriage is the last thing Marrok is looking for, until he meets Jane. I've joined up to NaNoWriMo 2020 to write the draft of this Novella which tells the backstory of Marrok, a character from my novel "Dawning of a Seer' which also features on Wattpad whilst I edit it prior to publishing shortly.

The death of a pharmaceutical mogul's wife brings a rising drug cartel, a compromised police force, and a depressed CEO in a collision course to control a deadly new opiate, DayDream, that makes you dream awake. The drug, the company, the streets of Boston, are all up for grabs. ***** It seemed like any other Boston obituary - Zizi Geber, the wife of pharmaceutical mogul Henry White, dead in a car accident. And still, there are too many questions and not enough answers, especially when the police come knocking at Henry's door saying they found signs of foul play. With his company's drug flodding the streets illegally, the police investigating his wife's death, and shady competitors trying to take him down, the only peace he can find is at the bottom of a pill bottle - or so he thinks. Corrupt detective Graham Dunne thought this was going to be an open and shut case. Accidents happen, after all. But every step he takes, he seems to be beaten to the punch by someone trying to cover up the truth, and the name of the crime family paying his bills keeps popping up. But above all, there seems to be something else, something macabre at play. And in the middle of all: DayDream, the drug that makes you dream awake. Follow a journey of grief, vengeance, murder, and surrealism, as a terrible conspiracy seizes control of a historic New England city, and discover how far a person is willing to go to achieve peace. For peace is only a DayDream away.

Three years into community college and having spent every waking hour of her free time on studying, Rin experiences the down spiral of humanity all from the comfort of her rustic country home. Before the end of the world, Clark Grant spent his days at his Las Vegas job drowning in paperwork or drowning in debt in the 24-hour bar below his cozy bachelor-style loft. His life was in shambles. Yet with the end of civilization and despite the obvious fresh start thrown at his feet, Clark couldn't help but feel jubilantly lonely as he decided to give up his past life and fulfill his dream of exploring the country - without the 'dying part', but of course no guarantees. Zahra and Zelda have quite literally spent the entirety of their life together. As sisters, they were overprotected by their parents until the day the apocalypse hit. They were their own best friends, roommates during college, and each other's sorority partners. They were attached at the hip until death did them part. Despite their parents attempts to reel them in during summer break, the two decided to go on an unauthorized girls trip accompanied by Zahra's unofficial boyfriend, Benji. The only issue is, the sisters (and Benji) are forced to deal with the repercussions of breaking the rules when they are stuck in Los Angeles and they realize that no one is coming to save them. #NaNoWriMo2020 - Attempted, but sort of made it? In Kreacher's mind the worst punishment he could suffer was the death of a beloved master, but he'd gladly take any other punishment Regulus wanted including sufferings like that which he'd suffered by drinking the potion,. Regulus living of course has repercussions on everyone. Disclaimer - I don't own Harry Potter. This is one of my projects for NaNoWriMo. Specifically, it's the start of the prequel series for a one-shot I wrote where Neville Longbottom is the boy who lived. The first attempt at a first chapter didn't work and then when I went to write the actual first chapter of the original first story I wanted to write, I found myself realizing I would be going further back, yet I also realized Regulus living would actually change things for everyone, including which boy Voldemort would in fact choose, though depending on what happens after the first chapter - because there are so many possibilities including other possibilities in regards to Regulus and him living, all of which would have profound effects on the plot.

Life in a world filled with monsters can be golden, so long as you follow the path of Luna. She was said to etch civilizations into cesspools, but from what I've come to know of Eden, the Goddess's grace is not so giving. Luna's gift to all her children is their one true love; their mate. If all one has to look forward to in life is a mate, then maybe living isn't all that much to look forward to. My NaNoWriMo work for 2020.

This is an original piece of work and is my project for NaNoWriMo. ---- A class mysteriously gets summoned to another world and are tasked with defeating the demon Lord. Each and everyone of them, determination and will sparking their fires, set their goals to complete this objective. Except one. Meet Dean. An ordinary student and kid who just lives his life with the standards that are expected of him. Instead of partaking in the war, he vacated his class as he states that his level is equal to a peasant with no affinities to the magic and mystical of his new found home. Follow him as he lives his life as he would do ordinarily, as he makes new friends and enemies that he may treasure or leave behind and as he ventures throughout this new world with only his hands and mind to help.

When the Empire sails to Tacree and lays waste to the shape-shifters, there are few survivors. Princess Rosabel will realise her destiny on her journey to save the remnants of her people. ***** Princess Rosabel of the Tacree Kingdom has always known what her duty is; protect her people, marry the prince, and become the greatest shape-shifter to have ever lived since the Mother was created. With her father guiding her and her path set for her, deviation was never an option. But when the crimson and black sails of the Sharlik Empire block out the setting sun on the Blood Ocean, Rosabel's commitment to her duty will be tested, as will her people's faith in her. The young princess will go on a journey to save her people, a goal she may not be ready to undertake. But if her people have any hope of survival, Rosabel will have to realise her power and that she's bound by flame. ***** A book written for NaNoWriMo 2020, this will be very rough and raw as a first draft with minimal planning. This story is a side novel beside the Flame in the Veins trilogy and is based before the trilogy. It's recommended to have read Flame in the Veins before reading this because of spoilers for that book, but this book is a standalone so it's not crucial. Cover made by me.
