Poems written when I was being mentally abused by my narcissistic ex-boyfriend, and my "best friend" at the time chose to believe him over me every single time - accompanied by songs I find fit. These poems helped me get through a tough time in my life and I hope they help you too. My healing process is very evident by the end as you will see, and I hope this helps heal anyone that's going through narcissistic abuse, feeling lost and alone, experiencing depression and anxiety, or anything else I touch on. Cheers! "Oh honey, well you know what, that's okay. I'm learning to accept that, For you it was never me. I was always just your 'most convenient prey.'" Authors Note: This healed the f*ck out of me. 10/10 would recommend.

Through the innocent eyes of a child, this story unfolds as a powerful journey of resilience and healing. In a world that should be filled with love and safety, young hearts are sometimes broken by the very hands that are meant to protect them. This narrative uncovers the hidden wounds of a childhood marred by emotional and physical trauma, gently exploring how such experiences shape a child's understanding of love, trust, and their own worth. Through the eyes of a child, we are reminded that healing is not linear, and that sometimes the smallest voices have the loudest truths. This book speaks to anyone who has experienced or witnessed the scars of abuse, as well as those seeking to understand the journey of breaking free from its grip. Healing begins with understanding. It begins with us.

She taught me to smile for pictures, not for happiness. She taught me love was earned, not given. She taught me that even when she held me, she was really holding a mirror. This is the story of growing up with a mother who saw herself before she ever saw me.

Harry isn't a wimp, he's just sensitive. So when he leaves his mother and sister to lodge with his old friend Liam that would be scary enough, right? Well apparently not. The peace loving teen soon finds himself in the middle of a high school feud between the two main gangs: The Narcissists (a group of pretty boys with dyed hair who know they run the school and only think about themselves, their image, and maintaining power), and the Punks [some guys (and a few girls) who aren't living their lives by the Narcissist's rules. Their tattoos and dark hair are signs of their defiance towards their egotistical peers.] Can sweet, flower crown wearing, Harry figure out where his allegiance lies? And what's he to do about the fact the leaders of the two groups are interested in him and his little "innocent routine"?

Ivy "Red" Calloway wakes up in St. Dymphna Psychiatric Hospital with no memory of how she got there. Again. The doctors say she has Dissociative Identity Disorder. Inside the ward, she meets four other women-Marla, the dangerously charismatic heartbreaker; Nell, the poet who speaks in riddles; Sasha, the girl dissolving into perfection; and Angie, the weary mother figure hiding her own ghosts. Together, they make up a twisted sisterhood of the forgotten, the misdiagnosed, and the misbehaved. At first, their days are filled with group therapy, bad cafeteria food, and whispered secrets. But soon, mischief turns into mayhem. And when a challenge to outwit the staff spirals out of control, the women are faced with a terrible question: Are they playing the game, or is the game playing them? A dark, haunting, and deeply human story about madness, survival, and the blurry lines between reality and delusion. By Cydney McMillon

" Alex's body tensed as the rickety vent shuddered again, maybe she wouldn't be about to die of fright if she wasn't 20 feet off the ground in a old rickety vent, witch by the way could easily hold her weight, but didn't stand a chance if Ash didn't get off the rope attached to the very vent she was on soon. She sucked in a sharp breath as she looked down at her friends, sending a death glare at Aaron as he laughed away the last of his brain cells at the position she and were on, she breathed a sigh of relief as she reached the place Ash dangled from, reaching down she started to lower Ash down. Just as Ash touched the ground the crack that would change her life sounded, sending her and the vent spiraling down onto the cold cement below."

A collection of poems and lyrics I've been writing lately that I feel are good enough to see the light of day. Trigger warnings for self-harm, abuse, trauma, mental health, sex, graphic imagery and a possibility of emotional reactions. If you connect with my writing, just know you're not alone in whatever you're going through.
