As the thunder rumbled and lightening struck my eyes started to water as I recalled a memory from a long time ago, ten years ago my mum divorced my dad and eloped with her newly found lover leaving me alone with my abusive father, my life was once perfect I was loved by both my mum and dad, I was daddy's little spoilt princess but no one ever gets a happy ever after cause life ain't no fairy tale. My mum cheated on my dad with his best friend and framed my ad did promiscuous acts with other woman as an excuse to divorce him and runaway however my dad found out a long time ago when he found mum's wedding rin and her lingerie in his friend's hotel room and ranted her a divorce and let her elope with her new found interest but then I thought I may have a happy ending but then my dad slapped me .................

Releasing my anger here. Honestly I don't know how to describe these people. There is so many names how I can call them: The Devil with mask, cruel toddlers, sick minded people, Empathy is missing, and so on. Its hard to choose the name of this first "book". Maybe I will change it later. But I have to remind you again, I am not here trying to become a famous writer. I just want to share my thoughts or vent my feelings. Mainly, I am writing this for me. Poetic snapshots from inside an emotionally abusive marriage. My marriage. We were married 23 years by the time the divorce was final. During the marriage, I didn't realize how far I had been beaten down. I had no hope. After I left, I started to look back and see my slow decline at the hands of my narcissistic (now-ex) husband. I wrote this partly to heal from the abuse, and in the hopes that my experiences might help another. The last two poems are positive in nature. I couldn't end this book on such a negative note. There is hope an the last two poems show that, I hope.
