Dalfar is a drifter in the stolen continent of his ancestors, earning odd coins for doing odd jobs. His latest journey brings him to a Southern city in conflict with itself. They make the perfect pair as the minstrel needs protection from the thugs of the city and she could pay Dalfar to provide it. But in Dalfar's own attempt to make some coins for himself, he uncovers dangerous secrets involving sorcerers, slaves, illicit drugs, and a king itching for war while doing a contract given to him by the famous Ernest Ganders. Things go rough when Dalfar finds himself imprisoned during an intrigue between the wealthy landowners of the city. Paulina Valeria now suddenly finds herself defenseless against the thugs who aim to harm her and the famous Ernest Ganders is driven into doing desperate moves to keep what rightfully belongs to him. Meanwhile, rumors quickly spread in the Southern city that the neighboring Northern kingdom plans to continue their aggression to abolish slavery in the entire South. The people of the city grow angrier of outsiders by the day as more and more news reach them about the escalating situation. Dalfar and his friend Paulina are now at risk of being executed at the behest of an angry mob.

Guilty Pleasure is a short monologue on addiction ,the troubled feelings and emotions associated with it . i tried to express the confusion and conflict that is found in the minds of addicts and to show how guilt has always been suppressed by cravings. yet soon a time comes when he/she comes back to his/her senses and all that which once was pleasure becomes guilt. this write-up is my work and all rights are reserved.
