Chloe stood at her boudoir applying makeup. She didn't notice the tiny insect approaching in the reflection until after it had crawled up her collar and onto the chain of her necklace. It tickled her throat, which drew her eye to the speck of red. She shrieked. She swatted. The monster disappeared; squashed or escaped, she didn't know. But it left something. Chat Noir and Ladybug have been heroes for a while now. This story starts with the event both heroes have long awaited. When the two find out each other's identities it changes their lives completely. Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste have to learn how to adjust their social and emotional lives. The reveal leads to their first date and they learn just how difficult it is to date, pass classes and save Paris all at once.

In this story Kim gets akumatize because someone hurts Alix. @Cap360 deserves most of the credit for this fanfic. One of their one-shots about Alix and Kim got me thinking about how things would play out if Hawk Moth felt Kim's anger and used it to make an akuma. More about it on the A/N.

According to legend, whoever controls both these jewels at the same time, will achieve absolute power. But their powers can be rivaled. The Moth Brooch allows you to give someone their own superpowers and to make that person your devoted follower. If in the Wrong hand, it could cause mass destruction and chaos. Usually, the Miraculous are left in place to keep them from the wrong hands. Over time, some of them get lost when a previous user disappears or dies suddenly and it ends up in someone else's hands. It is then lost track of by whoever is guarding the Miraculous and spends their time trying to find it and keep the ones in their possession safe. Due to this, some Miraculous have found their way into the wrong hands. So it is only natural that someone should be picked to combat the evil holders. Two of the most pure hearts should be trusted with the power to save not only all of Paris, but the world. Finding pure hearts would be easy, but one must be a judge of good character to find two. Not just two individuals, but two separate people who could work together, uniting as one. And that is where this story begins.
