While attending Blackwell, she meets a young man named Nathan Prescott, who at the time, is a distant and moody boy who's bullied because his parents are known for taking jobs from some of the students parents, and for buying the coach off so Nathan can join the football team. She grows acquainted with him, wondering if their relationship could possibly go beyond just friends.
