Our heads are underwater, struggling to breathe while we drown ourselves and drag everything down with us Americans alone use more than 500 million drinking straws daily. That could easily fill more than 125 school buses. If you look at your own plastics footprint, one of the easiest ways is to decline the straw. Spread awareness... ___ My Entry for the PlanetOrPlastic Contest of National Geographic PassionByMorning

Here is my entry for #planetorplastic! Sometimes I wander how society could be so avaricious as to demand the waters as a location of leisure, when we forbid marine life and pillage their home.

Marta searches for food for her young chick's. She's determined to feed her babies. Whether I win or not is immaterial. What really matters to me is that we all work together to save our planet. I truly hope that my story impacts those who read it in the best possible way. For those of you wondering my cover is just a picture i took on my phone at a beach Maraetai, New Zealand.

The old man's delightful memories made him talk endlessly. Bitter memories made him rethink and regret. Plastics are easy to carry and easy to use. But not the same in sea and ocean. Sea creatures aren't like you and me. They make mistakes, the mistakes which will cause their lives. Please reconsider before throwing wastes in water bodies. Entry for #planetorplant competition.

Hi, I'm Molly. I'm 19 and live in a beautiful part of the English countryside. Due to ill health I've been unable to visit the sea but have a love for it. I have also been too ill to write or read for the past few years, so this is one of the first stories I have written in a long time. My mum created the picture attached after our discussions and reading my final story.

Every mermaid was given a choice whenever they turned eighteen. They would have the privilege to choose whether to go above the surface, have what humans called 'feet' and have a chance to live as a human or stay under water. Many chose to leave the city of Atlantia and never returned. But many also returned to there homeland, saying that that place is not suited for them to live in forever. No one really tells the real reason behind it after returning from above. Now at the year 2018, the princess of Atlantia, Schimba, turned eighteen. Photo from Google ✔October 2018 #PlanetorPlastic
