In a town where rumors move faster than the wind, an ensemble of strangers finds their lives tangled in ways none of them can explain. Urban legends spread through Amaruqucha like wildfire, but none burn hotter than the mystery of a boy who vanished without a trace. His disappearance has become the city's newest obsession-fuel for late‑night whispers, anonymous posts, and the rise of dangerous figures lurking beneath the surface. Amid this growing tension, Xochitl, a young traveler from Mexico, arrives in Peru seeking a new beginning. She expects noise, color, and culture-but not the feeling that the town is watching her back. While Sisa, a local resident whose life is bound to secrets she cannot yet name. Secrets tied to the land, to the shadows, and maybe even to the missing boy. Their worlds should have remained separate. Yet Amaruqucha has a way of pulling people together, weaving their paths into a single, tightening thread. As supernatural rumors collide with gang conflicts and hidden agendas, the town becomes a maze of shifting truths. With every step they take, the mystery deepens. With every rumor, the danger grows. And with every passing day, the line between legend and reality fades. In Amaruqucha, nothing is coincidence. And once you're part of the story, there's no way out. ᴛʜɪꜱ ɪꜱ ᴛʜᴇ ꜰɪʀꜱᴛ ꜰᴀɴꜰɪᴄᴛɪᴏɴ ɪ'ᴠᴇ ᴄʀᴇᴀᴛᴇᴅ ʙᴀꜱᴇᴅ ᴏɴ ᴛʜᴇ ᴛʀᴀɪʟᴇʀ "ᴀᴘᴜᴋᴜɴᴀᴘᴀ ᴋᴜᴛɪᴍᴜʏɴɪɴ-ᴀ Qᴜᴇᴄʜᴜᴀ ᴍᴇᴀɴꜱ "ᴛʜᴇ ʀᴇᴛᴜʀɴ ᴏꜰ ᴛʜᴇ ɢᴏᴅꜱ", ᴇᴠᴇɴ ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜ ɪ ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ᴋɴᴏᴡ ᴇxᴀᴄᴛʟʏ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ᴏꜰꜰɪᴄɪᴀʟ ꜱᴛᴏʀʏ ᴡɪʟʟ ʙᴇ ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ. ɪ ᴡᴀɴᴛᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ᴇxᴘʟᴏʀᴇ ᴍʏ ᴏᴡɴ ᴠɪꜱɪᴏɴ. ᴛʜɪꜱ ꜰᴀɴꜰɪᴄᴛɪᴏɴ ɪꜱ ᴍʏ ᴀᴛᴛᴇᴍᴘᴛ ᴛᴏ ɪᴍᴀɢɪɴᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ᴍʏꜱᴛᴇʀɪᴇꜱ, ᴛʜᴇ ᴄʜ

Coming to the 'new world' frightened Elise somewhat, but she was forced to come here as a scapegoat for her 'King and Countrymen'. They had chanced upon the Isles some thirty years prior and all attempts at establishing peace with the natives seemed to fail. At the tender age of eighteen, Elise Forglow, youngest daughter to the King and Queen Forglow of Glanz Mainland, was being offered up to the natives as a bribe. What the natives were going to do to her when they receive her, remains a mystery. But this was, in fact, a solution for her parents to attempt to kill two birds with one stone. Elise, even though born and bred in the royal court and high society, has never been able to conform to be the perfect princess her parents desired. Giving her to the natives proved to be a chance to attempt to kill two birds with one stone.

Laura and Kathy White Rock live at the very edge of Navajoland, where few people visit. Their lives are mostly normal for young twins who reside deep in the middle of nowhere, except that on one particular day, a visitor changes their lives forever. They come upon a wounded crow on the road. It is an adventure that will take the sisters into a strange land, hidden just behind their house. They will follow the crow through ancient sandstone monoliths, into an impossibly green valley guarded by a bear with obsidian eyes, and to a secret world where the crow will be able to cross into the next existence before the chindis (dark spirits) come to collect its soul. Laura and Kathy will have to remain strong, side by side, and face the evil that gathers at their feet, its hollow eyes fixed on the light that glows from within them.

Hi there! If you're friends with the person that owns this account, you would know that they're not Native. I am their Boyfriend and I am Native! They allowed me to use their account to write stories so here I am :) In this book I'll talk about racism, statistical genocide, culture, cultural appropriation, toxic mindsets within the community, and the current (and past) abductions and murders of indigenous women and children. IF YOU ARE NATIVE AND HAVE A DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEW ON THESE SORT OF THINGS, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT AND I'LL EDIT THE STORY AND ADD YOUR POINT OF VIEW INTO IT!!!
